I remember thinking to myself, after we learned about the expanded stables, that one other thing that would make this patch amazing would be to reduce the cost of upgrading heirlooms. And it's happening!

Hate to say it, but the lack of "wow" items for hunters in 5.3, and the "meh" level of stuff since the expac has me playing my spriest again. Perhaps the new Blink and Beastcleave will help a bit, but at the same time we are getting 50 stable slots, I have no real desire to go fill them...

It's actually not as impressive as you might think. On an opaque character model it just looks like you have a few messy bandages on. It really needs the ethereal model underneath to work right. It's a shame one of the pieces, say the chest, caused that effect.

There has been something about the horse. It's connected to Hearthstone and if I remember correctly is a reward for buying a card pack in the Hearthstone beta but obviously the beta isn't out yet. At least I don't think so.

No chance of any non Americans getting it so far as the FAQ only says the beta is for Americans right now and that they "might" make others.

if they are really going to give the horse during beta you can bet on it that EU wil get a beta as well might not be at the same time but i am quite sure of it. I dont really think they are going to release a US mount only.

It would be a down right shame if EU don't get them imo, but who knows...

To be clear the FAQ just says "special gift" so that does not mean 100% it's the mount. Unless anyone can prove me wrong with a blue post or something.

That’s what I thought too, but then I guessed it had been confirmed and I could just not find it? It could be a mini pet, or a title, or anything.
But regardless of what it is, I'm still a not really a big fan of the US getting items and EU missing out, and vice versa.

Well I'd be sad if they don't make the beta for everyone. They say "game regions" in the FAQ and that's a bit confusing to me. Do they mean servers or that you have to be from that place? It's not that clear to me. Also they use "hope" to much and it's never good when a company uses that term heaps

Oh cool, Ty Mrrmi, I was searching through all the blue posts with no luck, assuming I'd read it in one of those.

Though it still only says "Obtain the Hearthsteed from the Hearthstone promotion. " it does not say "which" promotion. But then I think it's a pretty safe bet it's the one for the beta and/or by purchasing a card pack in the beta store at this point.

I'm just curious, I read that the hearthsteed can only be used like a hearthstone...only takes you to your hearth stone setting and nothing else....does anyone know if that's true or trolling?
