I name all my pets after mythology and so my warp stalker was no exception. So I will give you the name I used... Nithhogr, the dragon that gnaws at the roots of the world tree, Yggdrasil.
Heh I re-read this wiki article and I cannot find a variation called Nithhogr. Oh well, maybe I mistyped one of the alternate spellings. Either way, here it is.

Re: i need a mythical name for my warp stalker
A mythical name for a warpstalker is a really tough challenge. The concept of warping wasn't big during the period of classical mythology: most gods or monsters would polymorph into something different, if they weren't already an amalgam of beasts/humans. A warpstalker doesn't really change: it just blinks in and out, so the closest source for ideas I can come up with is Astronomy. You might be able to find something like a pulsar that has a mythological name attached to it. I'll dig around a bit ...
Edit: Pulsars are simply named with letters and numbers, so no success there.
I've beat my brains and the only thing I can suggest is "Genie". Wikipedia says, "In Arabic, a genie (also jinn, Djinn, from Arabic جني jinnī) is a supernatural creature which occupies a parallel world to that of mankind ..." and as we know, genies pop in and out to assist their masters.

Re: i need a mythical name for my warp stalker
I named mine Vorpal, from Lewis Carroll's Jabberwocky. It's a type of sword, but I always liked the word, and it also sounds similar to portal.
You could also go with space/galaxy names as they seem rather fitting. I've heard the name Nebula for a warp stalker before and really liked it.
