Terrorpene is a terrible name.

I only recently started looking for this fiery little guy and I was amazed to find him almost right away. Didn't really have to camp and wait for him at all.

It happened so fast I didn't even get much time to consider what to name him. Terrorpene is a terrible name, so that just won't do.

My other pets are:
Humar - Black Lion (Humar the Pride Lord)
Thumper - Grey Core Hound (The Kurken...he doesn't thump anymore but the name stuck)
Chumana - White Spiked Wind Serpent (Scion of Quetz'lun)
SpiderPig - Yellow Boar (one of the little ones from Mulgore)
Raja - Lightning Saber Worg (Skoll)

I'm currently considering "Loco" for my fiery turtle's new name. Comments? Suggestions?

I'm not the only one that hates the name Terrorpene!
I named mine Pyrros. You could try Kenneth, which means Fire and Handsome..

but i figured before i get a gm whisper to change it i renamed him Toasty

Congrats on the tame!! I got mine much the same way... decided to look, did about 5-6 fly-overs, and there he was, just the two of us, all alone. Nothing between us but floating hearts and burning lava.

I named mine Dante.

Edit: Yeah Acherontia, that's what pops into my head too, every time I see it...

Terrorpene is a bad name; same with Gondria. My man calls Terrorpene Terro-epeen.

Anyway, congrats on your awesome turtle.

I named mine Hades.

Yes, I agree. I thought it was kind of funny in a silly way. Not terribly clever, one must admit, but not all bad. Still, I never keep the original names of rares, and mine became a female called Ruby.

Well, it's really 'terrapin,' and it's a turtle. The University of Maryland's mascot is a terrapin and I nearly did name my Terrorpene 'Testudo' because of that.

Both Terrapin and Terrapene turtle types exist, they are just different species. Links below:

Some great suggestions. As I adventured with him, I realized I kept thinking of him as Loco so I guess I had sort of named him already.

Loco popped into mind because he blows black smoke out of his snout like a locomotive. Maybe kinda silly but that's the way it goes.
