All I can come up with is Silica (since that's the major component of glass). Sometimes I'm decent with names, other times I draw a blank.

Lexan.
It's the commercial name for bulletproof glass. My reasoning went like this: Glass = fragile, so you want that in the name. On the other hand, it's not ACTUALLY fragile, it just LOOKS it. AH! Bulletproof glass!
Plus Lexan is actually a cool name.
