Need some cool names for the lavender & white-striped Frostsaber Pride Watchers you can tame in northern Winterspring.

What about Lavender because of her color?
Mine is called Milka, after the German chocolate that comes in purple/white design.
I also like Sunset, Glam or Glamour, Hera, Persephone, Athena/Athene

I like the name, Lilac. I was lucky enough to tame Rak'shiri (the blue & white-striped Frostsaber) while I was up in northern Winterspring taming a Frostsaber Pride Watcher.

I think I might use flower, gem, or color names for the two colored Frostsabers.

Let's see... Is there anything else in terms of categories or shades of color?

Here are some names I found that I'm trying to decide amongst. If you think of others that sound good, please post! I'll add them to this list.

Purple flower names: Iris, Lavender, Moondust, Lilac, Petunia, Cosmos
Purple gem names: Amethyst
Purple color names: Violet, Magenta, Indigo, Mauve
Other names for the Frostsaber Pride Watcher: Aurora, Layla, Mystic, Athena, Frost

Blue flower names: Bluebell
Blue gem names: Sapphire, Topaz, Zircon
Blue color names: Cyan, Celeste
Other names for Rak'shiri: Skye, Glacier, Winter

Names related to the landscape of the Winterspring zone: Avalanche, Storm

I named mine Winter But, then again, that's because I made a fanfic about it.
But Somehow, Morning, or Glory sound appropriate.

What about Winterspaw or Frostpaw? I'm really liking the mixture of taking where the pet was tamed (in this case - Frostsaber Rock, Winterspring) and pairing it with a describing detail about the pet (in this case - a feline paw). The only problem is I need more than just "paw" endings for cat names. Help me out!

So after all that work and research, I'm now leaning towards a universal naming theme for all my pets. I like the idea of naming a pet after where s/he were tamed. This would symbolize their origin and where they exist in Azeroth. It also makes things a whole lot easier for me since I think I'm getting WAY into this naming business lately.

To apply it to the Frostsaber Pride Watcher, I'm considering Winter (after Winterspring) and Frost (after Frostsaber Rock). I've applied it to a few other pets as well, and it seems to be working well so far.

Sorry about that! This stuff can drive you nuts if you let it.

I went with "Wìnterspring" to match the name of my mount (the Winterspring Frostsaber) and companion pet (the Winterspring Cub).
