A name for Deth'tilac

I just tamed Deth'tilac today with the help of a shammy and a druid, took us 20 minutes. But now I am stumped for a name. Myth, book and anything else would be appreciated. I plan on using this pet for pvp and would like a really good name for it.



Edit: My husband suggested Lolth but I don't really feel thats a fitting name. I guess I don't mind if the name is male or female, but I am leaning more towards male names. I want something that kinda suggests that he's a big bad spider lol.

Anansi/Ananse is a spider god from African folklore. Perhaps that might work for your spider?

Aragog is a giant spider from the Harry Potter books.

I will keep those names in mind, still not 100% on anything yet. I guess I'm being rather picky on its name lol.

Neith is a name I'm fond of for spiders. It means "weaver" in ancient Egyptian.

You may have found a name already but I called mine Nightshade as it is a purple and black spider and nightshade is a purply black. They are also both deadly!

I actually have decided to name him Odji, it means 'wicked' in Egyptian. I was seriously considering the other Egyptian name but when I saw Odji I really liked it. He is now the third pet I have with an Egyptian name.... Lol thank you guys for all the awesome suggestions and I do really like nightshade, I might use that for another tame.
