Now that the servers are more stable and more people are getting on im guessing we will be seeing an influx of Gara tames but what is your new Gara's name.
Im curious to read your answers and perhaps get some inspired idea's for my soon to be new tame when i beat the queue boss

I named mine Gara actually, because that is my friend's favorite character from Naruto and she helped me with the gathering parts of the tame on her shaman.

Though I have been rethinking it a bit. The model does not fit the Gara-from-Naruto's look.

I might become even more unoriginal and name her Shadowmoon. *shrug*

Haven't actually thought of something epic, name wise, for her yet.

I plan to name mine Shadowsong.

Mine is named Daxniel, after my Caucasian shepherd, Dax. I had been looking for a WoW pet to represent him for quite awhile, but none of them either looked enough like him or were special enough to warrant naming after him, so when I went after Gara, I knew she'd be it.

Don't know what to name mine. How about, in honor of the major new feature in WoD, Garason. LOL

I named mine Samirya, who was a (very) minor character in a NaNoWriMo attempt from back in like, 2002. It's one of the few names I haven't used on a pet yet that I think sounds pleasant and works well with my hunter's name (Basanti). I dunno how much I'll use her since I primarily play survival AND I have two other Spirit Beasts (Tadassana/Skoll and Kanassa/Karoma) and there's no real point in carting around three spirit beasts nowadays since pet CDs are linked, but I've wanted her since the Void Wolves in the Tanaan intro quest were accidentally tamable and I got a taste, haha.

I play BM and have all the Spirit Beasts except the porcupines which I don't like. I decided that a beast with such a story and ordeal deserves to keep it's name so I named mine Gara. It will probably be with me almost all the time now. It has replaced Loque as my favorite SB.

I've not went out of my way yet to get her. I don't feel like it's the right 'time' just yet, if anyone understands that bit. Ahaha. I have, however, already decided to name her Miasma once I do go get her!

I named mine Mitternacht, which is midnight in German.

as im not a big fan of Garas skin and model in general ill wait until lvl 100 to tame her.
Not sure what i would call it though.

"Shutdown" because I got the tame 8 minutes before server shutdown. =)

I'm usually not a big fan of giving pets the same name they had before they were tamed. Having said that, I'll be tempted to give Gara her original name. After all, she's got a backstory and in a way was entrusted to me.

I was totally prepared to rename her the entire time I was gathering materials and doing the 'quest'. However, once I finished it and got to experience the story in full, I honestly couldn't rename her anything but Gara. I didn't have the heart to change her name after all that XD

Guess I'm not quite helpful here, but originally I was going to name her something like Shadow or Shadow-related names.

named mine Çharoite - purple gemstone name : Charoite is a soul stone with deep physical and emotional healing energies.

Meaning : Swirling glorious bright lavender, violet and lilac to dark purple with both white, gray and black veining - gara has that, just look at it XD

i do stone carving/jewelery myself so i think this stone name goes rather well with gara.. dont you guys think?

also got gara at lvl 91 - i could not wait to get at 100, followed both guides and another post about the void world, soloed everything no help with anyone. pretty proud of punting 100 questlines XD

I was always planning to keep her original name.. To me it didn't seem right to call her anything else after all that! I love Gara.. And I think her name is nice to begin with ^w^

I named mine Avalanche. After taming a Frost Wolf named Avalanche, it seemed that as a beast mastery hunter Gara should become the empowered version of her non-exotic counterpart.

For SV/Marks Avalanche is a sturdy Frost Wolf, swift and proud with her hunter.

When I return to Beast Mastery, Avalanche metamorphoses into a powerful Spirit Beast, walking the line between two realms as her hunter walks the line between beast and troll.

I named mine Memory,as to remember.

I named mine Solstice, no idea why. Thwip's "Miasma" is my favorite that I've seen, I think.

I will be naming mine Loki, in honor of my 14.5 yr old shepherd mix who passed away last December.
