Naming Loque (not going with a theme after all)
Update: I decided I am not going to do a theme for naming my pets after all. So I would love name ideas that sound good and have cool meanings behind them. What do you think fits for Loque? Sorry to be vague but I am open to a lot of different ideas. Just nothing I'm finding on my own seems to fit quite right. I like serious RP-type names. Thanks.

Re: Having a hard time naming Loque
I don't have any suggestions at the moment, but I just wanted to say that I totally know where you're coming from. My Loque was incredibly hard to name. I went with one thing but then waaaay later I suddenly stumbled upon the perfect name and it clicked instantly so I changed it. He's just so tricky to get that perfect name for.
I'll see if I can come up with some ideas for you later though. ^^ (I'll add some here if I see any)
EDIT:
Fintan ~ Irish Mythology: According to legend this was the name of the only Irish person to survive the great flood. This name was also borne by many Irish saints. It means "white fire".

Ooh I do like Fintan. That fits nicely. I'll be eager to see what else you (and others) might come up with too.
I was just looking myself, and this doesn't really work for my Loque but I think the name Orithyia would be great for a female Northrend pet; she was an Athenian princess later made into the goddess of cold mountain winds.
See, I love this dual theme because with a little searching you can find a name that is perfect in a very specific way. (Yet apparently I can't for Loque, LOL ... )

Aw! Don't feel that way! D: Don't worry - it's easy for posts to be buried under others. Anyways, I found some names that have something to do with his appearance or ect.:Hada wrote:I'm beginning to feel stupid about posting here.
Napoleon/Napolion - "Lion from a new city" or "son of the the mist" in Greek. Also the name of a world famous French emperor and military leader.
Noelani - "Mist of heaven".
Noe - (noe-AY) "mist; misty rain".
Uncia - A part of the snow leopard's scientific name.
Shan - "Snow leopard".
Alastor - "Avenging spirit".
Avira - "Air; atmosphere; spirit".
Menos - "Spirit".
Good luck finding a name for him/her!

Thank you Kamalia! That makes me feel a lot better, and those are some great ideas. I guess I should have mentioned that I see my Loque as a boy...at least I think so, unless a girl name ends up strongly appealing to me. You also gave me lots of good ideas for things to look up to find even more names, like air, spirit, and snow leopard.

i named mine Posner but i'm likely to rename it yo pusner for fun's sake
Posner is actually a kinda terrible name but whatsover. it was an doctor he found the lo(q)cked-in syndrome a paralysise. U can hear, think and roll u'r eyes. so u'r actualluy kinda trapped in u'r body But i found my loq had to have a fearsome name against its opponents which still fit's. i hope it's not to mean to use a doctor's name
