That's me with my new Silithid who has yet to be given a name or a gender for that matter.

I'm usually very good about having a flash of inspiration as to naming pets once I tame them, but in this case I am completely stumped. :?

When it comes down to naming I only have one proviso; no silly names. I don't generally name my pets silly names and I feel even moreso that my exotics have a proper name. I view exotics as sentient, thinking creatures that are more companions on a journey than a pet, such as a hyena or a wind serpent would be.

There is a link in my signature to the new profile page for the official forums if you want to get a better idea of how I name my pets.

Thank you all in advance.

That's a nice skin--I plan on having the beetle version until I'm high enough level to tame a scarab skin.

How about Jin? It means 'gold' as a Chinese name, and also suggests jinn (djinn), the genies of Arab folklore.
