Flight Rising Rant Thread

Getting really irritated with these two people on my ping lists who *never* respond to my pings. They say they're interested in my pairs and yet whenever they have hatchlings, I never get responses from them. Luckily my rule is that if I don't get a response within 24 hours the hatchling goes on the auction house but if you don't want to be on the list anymore, just tell me ffs! >.<

i have run a hatchery for almost a year now hun.. and its very common. I have the same rule as you do.. and sometimes it takes ages to hear back from a pinglister.. but i ping them everytime non the less...

It is annoying though but i sadly think its part of a hatchery

I worked so hard to complete my leaf set, now I''m bored but I don't want to sell them off or exalt them...what to do

Hmm new sets

, think it came out to 68 dragons so over 30 pair. I decide to home some of them with my husband, he keeps them fed and unbred in case I want to do special eyes and Ii pay him food every week ....he hates the coli.

Lighting festival I was selling the currency at 250k-300k a stack. Now I can't even get my stacks for 99k to move. How the HELL do people make money on this game, seriously?? I can spend hours grinding in the Coli and I make NOTHING. How the hell do some people have such expendable money?? What am I doing wrong? :/

People don't make money any more because people keep complaining about people that make money. So the FR team tries to fix it so everyone can win.. Which means everyone loses :C

You're doing nothing wrong, you're doing exactly what you're supposed to do... But people are wanting everything 'fair' now D:
I suppose you can hang onto them till next year (or the very last day) and hope to make a bit more. It's a risk though. Could go either way.

Sell it on the last day, or second to last day. If it doesn't sell, either hold onto it for next year or buy a load of stuff that won't come back. Give that a year and you'll be making a load because you can't get that apparel anymore.

I'm against buying items in advance and waiting for them to sell later personally because god knows if I'll be playing this game in a year's time. I'd rather make money that I need now for while I am still playing. It's not going to help me buy the genes and lair space I need right now if I keep things to sell later. :/

I really hope they hurry up and fix the dragon market... Selling hatchlings is one of my favourite things but it's not a very profitable way to go on this site...

I think they disabled them but I guess some of FR's ads were launching people off the site to a fake malware "java update" site for free fun and viruses.

This is why I run AdBlocker. @_@

I've gotten that popup when I use Chrome. I did not trust it. Also, a little over a week ago, I got a huge viral infection on my PC. I think it came from FR.

My husband got me patched together, but I need a complete reformat which he's supposed to do this weekend.

I use AdBlocker on FR whether they like it or not. Some of their ads are close to pornographic.

Yea no matter what, my adblock stays on. Ads are annoying and no amount of revenue begging will get me to take it off, for reasons exactly like the one FR is dealing with now.

I have always used AdBlock and always will. It's one way I can keep my pc safe, I am going to do it.

I really want to write cool stories for my dragons like some of the people on here do, but they always sound so... boring?

A lot of the ones I've read from a certain member here really blew me away, how they painted such lively pictures and held everything together.

They are really an inspiration!

I always take Adblock off on sites like Blip and Youtube because I like supporting the video producers who make the videos I love to watch. Watching a quick ad before a video is the only way you can support a video producer unless they have a Patreon and not everyone does.

Because it's the least I could do in return for the videos they produce.

FR on the other hand? Eh not so fussed.

The only time I EVER take off adblocker on chrome is for YouTube and Twitch. Mainly because, as Cow said, viewing those ads helps supports the content creators. FR? Regardless of them getting money from ads, I will not disable it and this is a prime example why. Had I happen once on a site similar to FR.

Ads generated are actually done based on what you've been seeing/searching on Google (and if you use Chrome the websites you visit) with some random ones mixed in.

I too run adblocker (it's available for Chrome and Firefox) because ads are annoying, can harm your computer, and I sometimes accidentally click things I shouldn't. If FR made more of an effort to really improve a lot of the features of their game, I'd consider whitelisting them, but as of right now they stay blocked.
