I love opal. I have a pair I'd like to put it on. I generate gems so slowly, though, that it can can take years to get gem genes. Most of the time, i wait until prices drop enough, and buy dragons with the genes already on them.

I'm with the others, I super love Opal and would love to integrate it into my lair a bit but yowch, that gem price. Maybe some day, though! I'd love one for my triple ice guardian, it looks so nice on her.

Agreeing with everyone else, Opal looks to be a beautiful gene but for right now I lack the gems to buy it, coupled with my bird-themed projects and general burnout. That and I haven't fully decided on who to give it to.

I utterly adore opal. But given my feelings on the way the game is going right now, there's not a fat chance in hell I'm going to try and save my gems for it. I'll wait til it's not the FotM and the prices on dragons with it drop and obtain it that way.

Yeah, I found a gorgeous tarnish/cyan/cyan boy I fancied but holy crap, 375k? I am not paying anything LIKE that much. In a month it'll be half, or even a quarter that. The usual swing point is 'however long it takes someone to buy a hatchling, let it grow up, and breed a nest' after the gene drops. Then the price drops like a stone because suddenly it's not just 'those few people who could immediately drop gems on a gene and possibly a boon', it's everyone who bought one.

I don't know what's going on with the code for the pack specific apparel and genes. When I quoted your post for the regular list of the apparel, all the codes showed up and I was able to copy/paste it over and just add my changes. But for the pack post, the coding came out totally different so when I copy/pasted, it didn't actually form the pictures for the scrolls/apparel. I've never coded those types of things for FR before so I'm going to have to look into how to fix that.

I can just send you the page code once im on stationary again.

Gene voting.... man the gene looks a lot like ripple and current... voted 2 but i think it could be better.. is it a tert since both wings and body are effected by it.?

not sure it looks to close though maybe if they had used a different color base??

Yeah maybe.. red for body, green for wings maybe...

It reminded me of ripple also. I wasn't all that excited...

I'm not sure what to think yet, either- it also reminds me of Ripple, but a version I actually like better, which is nice. But I'm not sure what it's gunna do with colors. If they go with the recent trend and bring out some unusual accent colors, then maybe it'll be pretty neat? I admit, I'd kind of like an alternative to Ripple that isn't so... washed out.
