Damn it, an accent I've wanted for awhile was on the AH for 500k. Didn't have enough, so sold a nature sprite. Already gone

same here... i had been stalking the thread where ppl come up with suggestions and i feel like there were sooo many better ones than the ones they picked...

Yeah this festival there's only one accent I want but not enough to pay the 35kt for it.
This actually happened almost a week ago but didn't really feeling like grousing till now about it. I was involved in a auction on a dragon I REALLY wanted. I was winning the auction on her. Typical rules "ping the person you outbid" yadda yadda yadda. I could have sworn there was never an AB listed. I new the auction was close to ending I go to check and the dragon was breed changed etc.
I pull up the dragon and it's now in someone else's lair. Go back to seller's thread and it appears the dragon was AB. No pings. Nothing. It really angered me. I posted on the thread it would have been nice to know it was AB and normally a ping is customary. Had I saw an AB when I read the thread I would have probably just bought her if it was low enough. But like I said I didn't see one and it showed an edit right before the dragon was AB.
I'm also really sick of PM /silent bid auctions. I don't feel their fair and now sure why people run them.
Also desperate need of scatter scrolls but cannot afford to but any right now.

someday I will learn. tried to hold an auction for 2 fully gened gen 1's and a gen 1 SD no bites at all. Decided to just cancel it, so absolutely frustrating

I sent a very polite inquiry about a G1 obs/red-range/white dragon today and got the reply (and I quote): "The only thing that might budge me are frankly obscene offers (if you come bearing a Boolean or Imp Scroll, I'd be happy to accept that

I was in a bidding war against another person in an auction today and at the last few minutes the person tells me they are out. I'm so excited to have won this G1 with colors I've wanted for quite sometime and then at the very last few seconds (literally), a new person snipes in a bid. The worst thing is, I don't think the person auctioning the dragon put in a snipe guard. I'm probably completely screwed. /headdesk
Seriously though, what a crappy/shady thing to do to someone. :/

was bidding on a dragon i really wanted so the person who was bidding against me waited util right before roll over to bid, so i lost I really hate people sometimes

I decided I wanted to buy bowmans clothes for a dragon. I go to the ah, click buy and nothing happens, no matter what i click on. :/ I guess I won't be shopping after all.
