soo :P

Oki here goes.. TWO of my double forest inquires went through.. and i offcourse had to buy both of them since well the wildclaw was only 30 k

i now got TWO under 3 million double forest girls

Image Image

Pro for choosing the pearlie :
*larger range for tertiary
*Same breed cd as Peter which is a spiral now
*Plague eyes

Cons:
*Sooooo many unnamed
*She needs all 3 genes

Pro for choosing the wildclaw:
*She is a wildclaw!
*only one unnamed hatchlings
*She has iri/shim so she "only need glimmer

Cons:
*Shorter tertiary range
*Peter will have to be bred change to a coatl or wildclaw

And what to do with the spare girl ? :D

Hi this isn't dragon related but FR related

I asked a person if they'd take some silk pieces for a head shot commission they valued at 500g.
Now these are nightsky silk. 1500 gem per set, in market place when sold.

They want -all of them- and my winter wolf pelt cape for one 500 gem drawing.
Some of the individual pieces are selling for over 500 *alone*.
And the cape is almost worth 250 gem.

Do you think they know ??
Are they trying to take advantage of me??
I told them I was offering *some of them* not the whole set, but they said "I'll do it for all of those" and like a fool I said yes because I was afraid they'd get mad if I said never mind. I am very bad at typing/wording things so they might of got the wrong idea on my offer. I don't know..

What do I do?? Do I just have to suck it up? I don't know if they started my art yet or not.
I'm really upset about this because I feel like I keep making stupid mistakes and losing money.

Please help

Defo not suck up. If they ask 500 gems for a drawing then the person is really not nice to try to rob you..... If i were you i would pm them saying " whelp i thought aobut it and i will give you 500 gems instead of items" seams like you could get more from selling your items so that what i would do... not sure they sell though..

A good way to tell if they are taking advantage is to see when they started if it's who I think then the answer would probably be yes they are and frankly I would find another artist

Peri, if you know your items are worth more than the asking price of the art piece then by no means are you obligated to "suck it up" and trade them all of the apparel to get the art piece. You should only trade the piece/pieces that are actually worth that amount and no more. Don't let yourself get conned. If the artist turns down your offer, that's their problem, not yours. There's plenty of artists out there and likely ones who aren't trying to rob you (and since you know you're getting robbed you really shouldn't be okay with it ;)).

Peri - they're ripping you off. I'd just pay them with gems if you can - if not - then I'd cancel the order. That is ridiculous. If they're willing to take items for art then they should base their prices off the current value of the item. They cant expect retired silks/a full set and only give you a head shot piece. Quite frankly I am extremely ticked off for you, because that's a load of shit.

Edit as i figured out what i want bio wise...

need some advice on how to gene up Crow & Raven. I dont want to go Petals/Butterfly or Crystal/Facet. They will get glimmer though

My own ideas are Seraph for secondary as it resemble feathers the most.. but afraid that it will hide their accents..

Tarn I have to agree with Syleye, cherub/peregrine look amazing on them both :D

Kinda weird question. I've been checking my remaining pairs' new ranges using this predictor site and found that Ornament and Lowri's range is going to get flipped, something I'm not too keen on as I prefer their tert runs through the red/orange/yellow range rather than green/blue/purple. There is a suitable replacement for Ornament on the AH right now but she's a wildclaw and I'd prefer nocturne. I do still have a nocturne scroll in my vault however.

So, do I suck it up and keep my current pair so that I have a mix of noc/imp kids as preferred but with the flipped colour range and keep the scroll for future plans, or get the WC girl and use the scroll on her so I can have the mix with the preferred range? Truth be told I wouldn't know what else to do with the scroll and am suffering from "Too Good To Use" syndrome
