Zedxrgal, Bogsneaks are the best. I really like the tan female with green thylacine in the top row, and the gir/hex green male. All of them look awesome tho!
Gah, they're all so awesome!

Kirrandria, what would they be?
Annnnd I already went there
This is a copy of my FR post about it. Now to see if anyone is interested.
I'd call them Bogwhomps
Bullfrogs.
IRL, bullfrogs are voracious, sneaky, violently territorial, extraordinarily loud creatures. I can just picture bogsneaks acting much that way. And that throat of theirs, I can see that expanding like a frogs to make great, booming croaks.
Here, have a listen to an American Bullfrog's vocalization. The site is safe
http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/a ... -bullfrog/
I have a pair of mirrors that will be getting bogged. It crossed my mind that they might make a very bullfroggy, bogsneaky sort of subspecies. Anyone agree?
All they need is the breed change, and they're set. I can picture them being a bit like bullfrogs: hunkering down in the murk, and calling to each other with great "whomp" ing noises.

Oooh! I like that idea for Bogs, they do kinda remind me of frogs.
As for that rather colorful bunch of dragons up there, I'm not sure what they'd be yet! I like trying to match colors to the poison gene, so I want a sort of tri-colored dragon that still matches. As for they're background/personality/what they'd wear... no idea yet xD

Edit: Maybe I'ma just go type up a little draft on what I think these poison skinned dragons should be!

When watching Baldwin change, especially the last bit, all I could think was "komodo dragon dragon!" So basically the same thing, hehe. Monitor lizard, anyway. Also, when I looked up the Kumi lizard, I found it was a cryptid. Cryptozoology is my very favorite semi-pseudo-science! And it led me to a web page with a "which cryptid are you?" personality quiz. Turns out I'm the Loch Ness Monster. So I'm pretty happy with that.
And yes, your skydancer really wants to be a bogsneak when it grows up!

Ugh I hate when people use real pictures for fake stuff, I think it's an Asian water monitor, this lady has one:
or an Australian Giant Monitor, this one looks young.

I did an image search for the pic and it came up with an Argus Monitor aka Yellow-spotted Monitor

I guess it could be, tho they all look a lot alike:

I agree that the first one seems to be an Asian Water Monitor, like you said, and the second one, an Australian Giant Monitor. I think the one you just posted is an Argus Monitor. But the Australian one and the Argus could almost be the same lizard other than color. It's a monitor lizard, even if nothing else is certain

*puts on herpetologist hat*
The first one yes is am Asian Water Monitor. Varanus salvator bivittatus to be exact. The other is an Argus (V. panoptes).
The Argus does range in parts of New Zealand but the "kumi lizard" doesn't exist and never did. It was folklore by the bush people. Argus definitely get large enough to be small dragons.
But no where near as big as a water.
Bogsneaks looking so much like varanids is why I'm obsessed.

Thank you, Herpetologist Lady!
And being obsessed with awesome lizards, one of which can eat a goat (komodo dragon, of course), is nothing to be ashamed of! Monitor lizards are cool.

I am now the proud owner of a bogsneak! He of course needs more genes, but he'll be glorious!
