Models old and new

Ahh I know what you mean about the colours, they don't seem to use as many high contrast or saturated palettes as they used to and it gives some models a bit of adull, washed out appearance. I think it's just the new art style in general, since Wrath, when they started moving away from doing things like using actual black to more of a grey tone, and overall everything has a sort of...fuzzy impression on the textures. I'm not sure how to explain it.

Let's see:
Chimaera: I prefer the old model (maybe it's just because the horrible colours of the new)
Boar: Clearly an improvement, I think I will finally tame one of those oinky guys

Elekk: Love the new model, I hope we will be able to tame them too!
Clefthoof: Not sure, I think I prefer the old models. Those giant tusks are a no-no.
Talbuk: I prefer the old model by far; I think the new one looks kinda hideous

Ogre: Not sure, it's both an upgrade and a downgrade imo, I must see them with full animations to decide
Wolf: That damn artichoke...ruins everything. Otherwise would be perfect.
Velen: Looks good but that beard...terrible. But I don't care about alliance...so whatever

Also, I really love how the talbuks look. D: They keep getting such negative feedback it seems. But I love them. :(

Is it just me or do the Pale orcs look kind of like the Goblins in The Hobbit mixed with Golum mixed with some druggy Blood elves?

Playing around with the new talbuks...apparently their hind legs are made of jelly bones...I like the modle ok, but it's just so awkward...very unlike the graceful talbuks we have now.

Wonder if the plant-like weapons are related to the ancients and plant Hydras? And I still have an irrational desire for a plant Hydra pet.

Still getting used to the Chimaera's new snake-y body. I'd like to see them fully commit to it by adjusting the body sculpting/posing around the back legs.

I think my problem with the new Boar seeming too front-heavy can be fixed by leg positioning.

And...that's a *lot* of Clefthoof colors!

I agree, it looks much more like a gun. It has a buttstock on the end to the right.

It's actually as old as WoTLK. It was just never put ingame. If this isn't an accidental PH model, it's nice that they're trying to get some older, unused models in the game.
