Confirmed by Muffinus:
https://t.co/EEjkCalz3W looks like a ravager. Please let there be a hunter pet version. As a bug lover, I beg you. ;_;
That is the new ravager, tameable in the ravager family (Muffinus)

Confirming that that's the new ravager model for WoD and there probably WILL be a number of color variants.

someday I'll find someplace to host a sig that isn't stupid money-grubbing photobucket

I'm sorry but that thing is HIDEOUS. I know some love it but its not for me. I think the other ravager models look way better.
I would tame one and name it ScaryBeyondAllReason if I thought it'd fit.

Best guess?

Ravagers were indeed Silithids before Dreanor became Outlands which caused mutation and stunting of all life

I'll add these guys when I can get home tonight and get the latest patch. Though SpiritBinder and I were both just discussing how they look like they're designed to be covered in fire / shadow effects and possibly also ghostly as they're way oversaturated as they are.

Maybe these will be spirit beasts!?!

For the curious there's also puppy versions:

I think those are the new dragonflies, but on the wasp skeleton for now. hopefully they'll get a new skeleton later like the Quilen

edit: y'know looking at the models side by side(especially the heads), anyone else get the feeling they might be related somehow?

Shadow and Fire spirit beasts... awesome!

except... I'm sick of wolves?...

There are so many beasts to pick from...

edit: Bat, Boar, Crocolisk, Dog, Raptor, Ravager, Spider, Warp Stalker, and Wind Serpent, Dire Horn, and Hydra are all on my wish list for a a cool Spirit Beast

cool wolves but I'm with SpiritBinder on this one. No more cats and wolves as spirit beasts please! Outlands has SO many strange and wonderful options to choose from that would not be easily justified in any other xpack.

Also, love the ravagers. I looovve the black one and will tame it for sure. I also really like the tan one and may even want the light blue one.
As for the dragonflies? I'm kind of underwhelmed. they look like they belong in the wasp family and for some reason I really don't like the way they look. It may just be the angle but I was really hoping for something with a longer body like the hook wasp concept art. (hopefully we will still see something like that. Or the wasp model may just be a place holder. in which case I could probably grow to accept them.)

my own personal likes and dislikes aside, this brings up more interesting clues concerning the link between silithid and outlands. the dragonfly and the ravager look like they could be from the same hive. they even have the same head and similar wings/legs.

Ooooo excellent, that’s good news :)

They certainly look like the hookwasps concept, apart from these ones being very vertical and the concept looking more horizontal
