WOD Hunter changes suggestion

General

Rapid Fire is Marksmanship only.

Arcane Shot renamed into Silver Shot and for MM replaced by Aimed Shot

Silver Shot: Level 90, 30 Focus, 40 yd range, Instant cast, Requires Hunter, Requires level 1, Requires Ranged Weapon, An instant shot that causes 125% weapon damage plus 2306 as Arcane damage. Applies the ‘Hunter's Mark’ effect.’
For Survival:
Your Silver Shot causes Serpent Sting
For Beastmastery:
Ranamed as Dire Shot
Dire Shot: Level 90, 30 Focus, 40 yd range, Instant cast, Requires Hunter(Beastmastery), Requires level 60, Requires Ranged Weapon ;
An instant shot that causes 125% weapon damage plus 2306 as Arcane damage and summons a Dire Beast to attack your target for 12 sec and generate 5 focus when each time it attacks a target. Each Kill Command adds 6 second duration and each Dire Shot adds 2 second to the summon duration. Replaces Silver Shot. Only one Dire Beast can be active at one time."

Serpent Sting is Survival only and would be cast automatically by Silver Shot, Explosive Shot and Viper Shot.

Execute Ability revamped
Kill Shot: 45 yd range, Instant 10 sec cooldown, Requires Hunter, Requires Beast Master/Marksmanship, Requires level 35, Requires Ranged Weapon, You attempt to finish the wounded target off, firing a long range attack dealing 420% weapon damage. Kill Shot can only be used on enemies that have 20% or less health.
for Marksmanship
If Kill Shot fails to kill the target, the cooldown is instantly reset, but cannot be reset more often than once every 6 sec and applies healing reduction debuff to the target for 11 sec.
Beast Mastery
If Kill Shot fails to kill the target, summons a A Murder of Crow for 8 seconds. Heals the hunter for 10% and pet for 25% health If the target dies while A Murder of Crow is active.
Survival
Kill Shot removed. When the target reach below 30% health, your next Viper Shot or Explosive Shot will cause and additional 30% in the form of physical damage and would trigger the debuff 'Anaphylactic Shock' which increases Serpent Sting damage by 30%.

Blink Strike is now a baseline skill learned by hunters at level 30.

Stampede can now only be learned via talent.

Direbeast is BM only skill

Master's Call revamped
Master's Call: Summons 2 quick fleeted Ferrets with 5hp each to free the target and the Hunter's pet. The Ferret will follow the target and the Hunter's pet around for 6 second. The Ferrets are immune to AOE and movement impairing effects.

Ammo Bag and Quiver makes a comeback and aesthetically changes depending on your equipped weapon. At level 1 you will have a passive called 'Ammo Container', which displays ammo bag or quiver on your toon.
At level 10, a drop down list like your 'Call Pet' skill will be made available from Ammo Container for you to choose one these three ammunitions. You can have only one type of ammunition active at one time and it can only be switched when you are not in combat.
Knucklecrack Slugs Your next ranged attack will increase your readiness by x%. Stacks 3 times.
Quickshot Slugs Your next ranged attack will increase haste by x%. Stacks 3 times.
Rumblestorm Slugs Your next ranged attack will increase your multistrike by x%. Stacks 3 times.

New Spells
At level 20, 40, 60 and 70, all hunters learn a new spell at each respective level and the spell is different according to their race.

All these tame have the same spells and can be mounted via their skill 'Ride as One'.

Survival

Black Arrow renamed into Viper Shot
Viper Shot: Level 90, 35 Focus, 40 yd range, Instant cast, 30 sec cooldown, Requires Hunter (Survival), Requires level 50, Requires Ranged Weapon, ‘Fires a venomous ammunition at the target, dealing 1570 (+ 126% of Attack power) damage over 20 sec.*Applies and refreshes Serpent Sting.Applies the ‘Hunter's Mark’ effect.’

Explosive Shot: Level 90, 25 Focus, 40 yd range, Instant cast, 6 sec cooldown, Requires Hunter (Survival), Requires level 10, Requires Ranged Weapon, You fire an explosive charge into the enemy target, dealing [(244 + 730) / 2 + Ranged attack power * 391 / 1000] Fire damage initially and every second for 2 sec and applying the Hunter's Mark effect.*Applies and refreshes Serpent Sting.

Marksmanship

Aimed Shot replaces Silver Shot for Marksmanship.

New spell; Velocity (passive) :Aimed Shot, Chimera Shot and Multi-shot reduce the cooldown of Rapid Fire by 4 seconds per cast.


Talents

Tier 1 –same as live

Tier 2 -
Intimidation is ‘removed’ and now replaced with 'Arachnophobia’.
Arachnophobia: 60 second cd, Summons a Broodmother Spider (Model used; Beth'tilac) to follow a friendly target for 15 seconds that flings Spider Hatchlings to nearby enemy face's, fearing the target for 4 sec and snaring them in spot for 8 sec.
Tier 3 Aspect of the Iron Hawk is removed and replaced with Iron Beast
Exhilaration now also instantly revives your pet to full health if its dead.
Iron Beast: You and your pet take 10% less damage.
Spirit Bond reworked
Spirit Bond : Requires Hunter, Requires level 45, You and your pet will regenerate 3% of total health every 2 sec. Also reduces Revive Pet focus cost by 40%.

Tier 4 Dire Beast removed and now is a BM only talent
Thrill of The Hunt now also effects the hunter's pet.
Thrill of The Hunt: You have a 30% chance when you fire a ranged attack that costs Focus or Kill Command to reduce the Focus cost of your next 3 Silver Shots or Multi-Shots by 20 and your pet's next 3 Smack, Claw, or Bite to cost no focus.
New skill *Vigilance (passive): Your Cobra Shot and Steady Shot and Snipe generate 10% more focus and will also generate 10% of your pet's focus.

Tier 5
Stampede is now a talent.
A Murder of Crow remove as a talent and now is reworked as BM's execute effect.
With or Without you;
Beast Mastery (Versatility), Passive, Increases the effect of your pet’s Combat experience to 70% increased damage. Your pet now gains the following abilities, regardless of spec: Rabid, Spiked Collar, Thunderstomp, Blood of the Rhino, Great Stamina, Bullheaded, Cornered, Boar’s Speed
Marksmanship & Survival , Passive, Increases all damage dealt by 30% and your Mastery and Haster by 5% (Lone Wolf) when you don’t have a pet active. While your pet is active, increases your damage by 15% and your critical strike by 5% (Alpha Wolf).

Tier 6 – same as live

Tier 7 - unknown yet

Pet Changes
Upon learning taming exotic beast, BM Hunter non-exotic pets would learn these new skills in addition of retaining their already learned skills;

Basilisk
Crystal Water - (Turns the water underneath your feet into crystals, allowing you and your basilisk to walk across water)
Stone Curse - (Reduces movement speed)

Bat
Wake the Dead - (Your bat's scream wakes the dead; combat ress)
Eco-Location - (Increase your Archaeological skill by 25 and helps you to automatically dig up artifact when you are near the green spot)

Bear
Salmon Hunting- (Increase the hunter's fishing skill by 25 and helps the hunter fish without the aid of a fishing rod, and automatically catch the fish. Heals the pet for 20% health and 20 focus for each successful catch)
Swipe - (Mortal Wound)

Beetle
-Bug Bite - (Increase Physical Damage Taken Debuff)
-Scurry - (Increase the Hunter and the Beetle's movement speed by 60% for 8 seconds, 2 minute cd)

Birds of Prey
-Tailwind - (Increase the Hunter and the Bird of Prey's movement speed by 60% for 8 seconds, 2 minute cd)
-Dive Fishing - (Increase the hunter's fishing skill by 25 and helps the hunter fish without the aid of a fishing rod, and automatically catch the fish. Heals the pet for 20% health and 20 focus for each successful catch)

Boar
-Thrash - (Allows opening of locked chests and door)
-Charge of Fury - (Haste buff)

Carrion Bird
-Ravenous Opportunity - (Feasts on a nearby Humanoid or Beast corpse within 5 yards, healing it for 20% of its maximum health and restoring 20 focus over 5 sec.)
-Tenacious ferocity - (Increased Stamina buff)

Cat
-Limber- (Increases dodge chance of the pet by 30% for 10 seconds)
-Cat's Reflexes - (Reduces fall damage for 30%)

Crab
-Pincer Pinch - (Reduces the movement speed of the target by 50%)
-Ghostcrawler's Legacy- (Increase critical strike buff)

Crane
-Lullaby - (Reduces the movement speed of the target by 50%)
-Water-Striding - (Allows the Hunter and the Crane to walk across water.)

Crocolisk
-Apex Swimmer - (Increase swim speed of the hunter and the crab by 50% and allowing the hunter to breathe underwater)
-Surge of Brutality - (Temporary Haste buff)

Direhorn
-Horn Strike - (Increased Physical Damage Taken)
-Might of Zandalari- (Increased Strength/Agility/Intellect buff)

Dog
-Sniff - (Increase Archaeology by 25 and helps you dig for artifacts, instantly fetching any artifacts in vivinity, causing you not to be suicidal while leveling this profession, after all, Dog IS you best friend.)
-Lockjaw - (Reduces the movement speed of the target by 50%)

Dragonhawk
- Blazing Speed - (Increase the Hunter and the Dragonhawk's movement speed by 60% for 8 seconds, 2 minute cd)
- Melt - (Allows opening of locked chests and door)

Fox
-As Cunning As A Fox - (Increased Critical Strike Chance buff)
-Find Opening - (Increased Physical Damage Taken debuff)

Goat
- Stomp- (Allows opening of locked chests and door)
- Goat Speed - (Increase the Hunter and the Goat's movement speed by 60% for 8 seconds, 2 minute cd)

Gorilla
-Lock Smash - (Allows opening of locked chests and door)
-Drum Chest - (Temporary haste increase)

Hydra
-Triple Bite - (Mortal Wound)
-Corrosive Spits - (Allows opening of locked chests and door)

Hyena
-Crushing Jaw - (Increased Physical Damage Taken debuff)
-Scavenge - (Feasts on a nearby Humanoid or Beast corpse within 5 yards, healing it for 20% of its maximum health and restoring 20 focus over 5 sec.)

Monkey
- Banana Peel- (Reduces the movement speed of the target by 50%)
- Monkey Business - (Increased Strength/Agility/Intellect buff)

Moth
-Dust Shield - (Increases dodge chance of the pet by 30% for 10 seconds)
-Allergen - (Mortal Wound)

Nether Ray
-Nether Shock - (Increased Magic Damage Taken debuff)
-Void Opening- (Allows opening of locked chests and door)

Porcupine
-Fleet Feet - (Increase the Hunter and the porcupine's movement speed by 60% for 8 seconds, 2 minute cd)
-Quill Armor -(Causes Nature damage to attackers.)

Raptor
-Pack Hunter - (Increased Mastery buff)
-Tear Lock - (Allows opening of locked chests and door)

Ravager
-Ravaging Roar - (Increased Strength/Agility/Intellect)
-Spiky Carapace - (Causes Nature damage to attackers.)

Riverbeast
-Riverborn - (Increase swim speed of the hunter and the Riverbeast by 50% and allowing the hunter to breathe underwater)
-Rushing River - (Increased Haste buff)

Scorpid
-Claw Grip - (Allows opening of locked chests and door)
-Menacing Presence -(Increase Crit Buff)

Serpent
-Coil - (Reduces damage taken by the pet by 50% for 12 seconds)
-Deadly Venom - (Mortal Wound)

Spider
-Master Trapper - (Increase Mastery buff)
-Spider Sense - (Increases dodge chance of the pet by 30% for 10 seconds)

Sporebat
-Mushroom Feast- (Conjures a Mushroom Patch. Raid members can click patch to acquire Conjured Mushroom)
-Rash Spore - (Mortal Wound)

Tallstrider
-Dustcloud - (Increases dodge chance of the pet by 30%)
-Tall Striding - (Increase the Hunter and the TallStrider's movement speed by 60% for 8 seconds, 2 minute cd)

Turtle
- Snap - (Increased Physical Damage Taken debuff)
-Shell Fury - (The turtle withdraws into its shell and spins, dealing Nature damage to nearby enemies over 8 seconds.)

Warp Stalker
-Warp Speed(Temporary haste increase)
-Phasing (Reduces damage taken by the pet by 50% for 12 seconds)

Wasp
-Honey Hive (Conjures a Honeybee Hive. Raid members can click the Hive to acquire Conjured Honeycomb.)
-Swarm - (Summons a swarm of insects, dealing Nature damage to nearby enemies over 8 seconds.)

Wind Serpent
-Bloodflayer's Pact - (Increased Stamina buff)
-Guardian Wind-(Slow fall)

Wolves
-Hunting Howl - (Temporary Haste buff)
-Ancient Hunt - (Increase your Archaeological skill by 25 and helps you to automatically dig up artifact when you are near the green spot)

AND ANOTHER SPELL FOR SPIRIT BEAST

-Spiritual Unison - (Your pet's and your spirit combines, allowing you to Take direct control of your pet and see through its eyes for 1 min.)

I've used Dire Beast a lot this expansion, and frankly I'm a little tired of it, as most of the dire beasts are too large for my tastes. So I'd prefer to see it remain an optional ability, rather than be baked into the BM shot rotation. Conversely, I love the idea of adding Murder of Crows to Kill Shot and the Master's Call ferrets!

The ammo idea is interesting; it could even be used as a replacement for aspects in the UI.

Think you forgot to go back and finish the "New Spells" section. Are you saying that we would get race-specific hunter mounts?

I like the idea of normal families getting more pet abilities in BM spec, but I would probably limit it to one new ability rather than two.

And of course, I still love Arachnophobia :)

^ i dont see why you would complain that much about losing it in the 1st place tbh.. welp kids got what they want.. the next complaint will be asking for eyes of the beast back.. *grabs popcorn*
