Never Too Early to Start Planning: WoD Stable Ideas!
Hope nobody minds that I start this off (or that it hasn't already been started). I'm really looking forward to the next expansion because of all the new possibilities of hunter pets. So, I started figuring out what may be my stable for the next expansion

Never too early indeed~
Many of the WoD models I added will likely just be test runs, I'm sure I won't keep all of them, though I guess I'll have to wait and see what clicks. So far my stable looks like it'll be something like this:

A little while ago I made a quick grid image for the 55 stable slots: link. Just open it in an image editing program of your choice and paste the Petopia thumbnails on to it. Then you can save it and add it as an attachment here.

All I need really is my Springpaw Lynx, Deth'tilac, Chromaggus, Chimaeron, and Teroclaw Chick. Everything else is "Hey, look what I got!"

Re: Never Too Early to Start Planning: WoD Stable Ideas!
Still don't think I'll be coming back for this expansion, but after hearing the release date, I couldn't resist making up a pet grid! Haven't named them, but I had decided on a naming theme, astronomy, and had made up an initial list of stars and planets, both real and fictional, to choose from.
Main changes from MoP are that I released my five rainbow scarabs to make room for the four new families and another wasp, as I couldn't bring myself to release either of the ones I have I also released my old model bat, raptor, and ravager to make room for the new models!

It took me months to decide but I think this is about right.

Well, here's the new WoD pets that I want to add to my stable, at least. Looking at it now, it's surprising how there's a general sort of colour scheme going on for me!

Yup. Seems about right. That's kinda like my stable plan too. I've got names planned...there's a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,I,j,Kil'ruk,m,n,o,p,q,r,s,t,u,v,w,x,y,z. Then there's fluffy 1, fluffy 2, fluffy 3...it's a long list.LupisDarkmoon wrote:It took me months to decide but I think this is about right.

Re: Never Too Early to Start Planning: WoD Stable Ideas!
Everything but the last 8 slots is already tamed. I'm still not sure I'm going to keep most of the ones that are just color variations aside from spirit beasts (may release green Portent, black & brown Madexxes) and I might let go some of the non-rares. IDK yet, it will really depend on what I see in-game that I makes me go "I NEED DIS".
Usually by the end of an expansion my stable is super cramped, but 55 slots is a good place. Enough spots for my favorites, enough spots for my neurotic collecting, and usually some left over. Of course, I say that now... I'm sure I'll be clamoring for more slots when Blizz comes out with more amazing things to tame.

Re: Never Too Early to Start Planning: WoD Stable Ideas!
Not much is expected to change in my stables (surprise ... surprise). I added the hydras I want and documented the pets I'd like to have but are not yet tamable at the time of this post (shown in the bottom right hand corner). I realize that these pets may never become tamable in the future but including them allows me to reserve the space just in case.
I do plan to tame a for Niabi. I may also be updating a few pets to newer models such as Khau's boar and Synestra's bat but I won't know that for sure until after WoD launches.
As of now, the following grids represent my intended stables ...
