I don't know if this is the right place to mention this, but the Killmaw Pups make a different sound in combat. They don't vocalize on click, but in combat they make "puppy" noises rather than wolf noises.

Coldtusk, lvl 90 black pig makes ambient noises; he grunts, oinks and squeals. Nothing on click though.

Ahh, so THIS is where that thread is.

The Warsong Wolf, the brown sitting-down one right outside the Wolfmother's hut (but ONLY that one, it seems--the black ones don't do it?) have a lot of growl/huff/howls on-click, all the new WoD wolf sound effects.

Edit--he really doesn't shut up :) Constant growls and wuffles just like the Trained Snarler/Garn mounts.

lvl 99 Nagrand Prowlers (brown WoD wolf) has ambient wolf noises as well as vocalizations on click.

lvl 96 Bonespike Ravagers (buff colored with dark stripes) make a random, ambient mechanical sound. I can't figure out what triggers it, but zoning into Warspear and then standing next to the orc chopping wood by the AH will make it go off. Couldn't figure out what that noise was until I was questing with my hubby and it kept doing it off and on. Pretty annoying sound, but I thought I would post it here in case anyone would like to try it out.

Found this out when I abandoned my wolf to retame and rename (so I didn't have to use a certificate), and the new version of him is silent on click. Kinda bummed out, but what can ya do? :)

I FOUND ONE!!!! I squueeeeeeeed with glee when he did it. The ICEWING RYLAK makes noise upon clicking it!!!! This is the pale colored Rylak. There was some questions whether this specific NPC was tamable or not (you can find the original post HERE) but I located them and tamed one.
Upon goofing off tonight with a guildie I accidentally clicked him and he chuffed!!! I just kept clicking him cause it blew mind mind and was such a cute noise. But add this little Rylak to the list.

I'm guessing this thread isn't updated anymore, as the Warsong Wolf still hasn't been added, but if you're looking for a growl-on-click brown WoD wolf the Warsong still does it as of today. I tamed my brown one the same place as last time, on a new hunter now, sitting at the trough outside Gar'lua the Wolfmother's hut. They have almost puppy-ish sounds on click, and absolutely do not shut up when idling. Constant growl/huff/sniffs.

FYI, every mushan and yak, and all but one kodo I've tested in Legion have made sounds on clicking. So far I think the only exception I've found was the Landquaker Bull. Odd that it's different to the rest.

None of the stegodons, shoveltusks, mana wyrms (old model at least) or sandreavers I've tested have sounds, but it's less surprising in older models. Nor do any of the mechanicals I've seen so far, but they vary a lot in models and there are clearly more to come, so some of the more recent models might.

Update: the Haywire Battle-Chicken does make clucking noises on click, much like the minipets do :)

Bonus: the yaks from Valley of the Four Winds make noises while moving! The one I tamed in the Dread Wastes does not.
