Heeeeeeeeeee, that would be AMAZING! :D

To be honest I'm not sure if it's used or not. In Wowhead you can filter NPCs by "uses skin.." and type that skin in, but Wowhead is currently down :P

Of course that wouldn't catch uses where a NPC uses multiple colours and it's not the primary one.

Thanks for this, though. I knew that data was on Wowhead but didn't realize I could filter for it that way.

Edit: found some!

Glad you found it :) I'll have to add references to a few mobs that use those skins in the list.

If you ever work out a way to determine the *model number* of an NPC, please let me know. Wowhead has a "uses model number" filter as well, but as far as I can tell it's all but useless because I can find no method (including WMV) for determining the model number of anything. (For basilisks I got lucky... turns out they're model #1 !)

Since a couple of the epic / pvp riding raptors have been found tameable in MoP I figured I'd upload the entire set.

Might get the orange raptor for my troll. Would love to see a tameable green/red to match the Swift Razz.

Noticed you have the MothSkinPet listed in both your first and second post.

Fixed, thanks :)

Yeah, I decided to re-order the entire list based on what would need to be done to get the appearance added.

Post 1 now contains only unused skins on existing tameable models. The easiest ones to implement

Post 2 contains skins that fit existing tameable models perfectly well, but are currently only on other models and would need to be copied across.

Post 3 contains currently untameable models that fit most easily into existing families. I've been fairly conservative with this. I'm not going to shoehorn things into existing families. The majority of these are just saddle model versions of current beasts, but with a few other things as well (like clefthooves as rhinos).

Post 4 is what's appeared as tameable in MoP so far. Of the old models, that is. I'm not including new MoP models here, and they make up the bulk of new appearances.

Non-elite ravager skins work perfectly on the elite model, and might make good rares. They look 42% more awesome than the standard model versions. The skins would have to be copied over, that's all.

Image CrawlerGreen (elite model)
Image CrawlerOrange (elite model)
Image CrawlerPurple (elite model)
Image CrawlerVar1 (elite model)
Image CrawlerVar2 (elite model)
Image CrawlerVar3 (elite model)
Image CrawlerVar4 (elite model)
Image CrawlerVar5 (elite model)
Image CrawlerVar6 (elite model)
Image CrawlerVar7 (elite model)
Image CrawlerVar8 (elite model)
Image CrawlerVar9 (elite model)

As for the reverse... elite ravager skins would work on the non-elite model but the skins lack an alpha mask meaning the spikes look wrong. They'd work fine if the alpha mask was copied to them, but I'm not going to bother with them for now.
