Thinking Thok: A 4K finding in SoO

Unread post by Acadion »

Hi everyone!

I found Thok. Well, we've all probably found him, but here's how you can find him if you don't know how!!!

https://youtu.be/RA5rWqwCQvI

Thok is located in the Siege of Orgrammar, 2nd to lass Raid instance as the final boss. At level 110, it's a breeze and really fun to do! At lvl 100, I would suggest a friend or two, but honestly that makes it all the more of a good time.

I hope you enjoy! I had a great time making it. Oh and as always, it's in 4K if you are so inclined!

I thought Thok would look cool as Hati with the electrical effects, and I'm glad he does. Nice vid!

How much time did you have on Spoils doing it solo at 110? That seems to be the thing that's tripping me up on live, though to be fair I haven't tried it in a while. The stupid hook to swap to the other side just takes soooo long :\

(I mean, Immerseus is also a problem if you're not doing it on LFR, but that's kind of moot for Thok)

It is easily soloable in LFR at 100-103, depending on your gear. In LFR, you get about 5 mins for each side.

Ugh... Immersus... That fight takes 7 minutes at least to do.

Whats worse was going for the scorpid. I had to go through the inital shah instance. I was able to burn down the final boss of that area but holy cow. It's not doable at lvl 100. I barely made it past at 110 with decent gear before he moved to imprison me.

Solo Spoils at lvl 110 is really easy. I have plenty of time to spare in LFR. I didn't try it in Normal, but I don't think the health buff to the bad guys is that much. But for Thok you only have to worry about LFR.

I'll always attempt to take friends on normal runs. It's just a lot of fun that way.

Yes BM is dual pet, but the second one is only from equiping the artifact gun, and it's Hati, an electric wolf. However at level 110 you can get a quest to get an item that allows you to "transmog" Hati into your current summoned pet, and then you can swap for another pet and Hati will keep the new appearance, so visually you will be able to have your two grubs out.
