My brother is getting married tomorrow so that will be a nice time. It stopped raining last night and it's been pretty sunny and summery today so I hope it stays like that for tomorrow!

I hope so! The sunny weather today was a complete surprise. I went out expecting it to be rainy and instead got a bit burnt wandering around Auckland.

Have a great time :)

I've lost about 30 pounds! I've had to give up a lot of junk food, and finally got off my butt and started moving. It took a few months, but I look and feel so much better! I'm hoping to get in good enough shape to run some races and obstacle courses. :)

Sorry for such a late reply XD it went great! Such a lovely time, I'm not normally a crier but ahhh the old water works went that day.

I hope you saw the baboons and flamingos! They are my favorites at the zoo. Especially when the baboons have babies! I know the flamingos have a few at the moment. How was the Aussie walkabout ;) hope the devils were out!

Rhyela congrats on the weight loss!

Tomb that's a nice dog!

More random than anything else but I recently found out that Zodiac "Cusps" are a thing, being a small section of days where the signs overlap, and that I was in fact born on the cusp of Gemini and Cancer, aka the "Cusp of Magic". Calling myself twin crabs is kinda awkward but being able to say "I was born on the Cusp of Magic" is pretty neat.

Decided to go for it and bought a Heroic Argus carry from a guild on Moon Guard price wasn't too bad 350k it went very well they gave us directions early on shoot to loot then die but stay away from tree which was easy to do best part is I got my bird mount and didn't have to waste my time in some lottery.

After years of putting it off I finally got my first tattoos and I'm so happy! :D

(they're still very fresh so ignore the redness and residual ink stains)

I got my long time RL friend FINALLY to try WoW.
I knew she was hooked when three days after I got her on the trial she said she'd upgraded her internet.

It's fun though, hearing someone experience the game for the absolute first time ever. Even if she's having trouble...

"I'm dying trying to clip whiskers off huge cats! Who thinks up these quests?!?"
"You haven't lived until you've done the poop quests."
"WHAT? ARE YOU SERIOUS?"

hee hee hee

They just announced the first ever underwater Warhammer race! I have not really cared for Age of Sigmar before but holy cow an underwater elf race? Who ride sea beasts and seem to have no eyes? Yes please I'd at least collect them! They can be friends with my Lizardmen!

Ahhhhh you could paint them like tropical fish! adshkaufn nav

getting better at cooking has been massively boosting my self-esteem. I finally feel like I'm getting to a point where I can pretty confidently make up my own recipes, and man, it feels really nice to get home from class, mess around in the kitchen for maybe an hour, and walk out with rosemary herb oven fries, a chicken curry salad and minimal cleanup.

unfortunately it also makes me tired  oh well, one step at a time!

Finally something I was able to smile about.

My parents rent an allotment where they grew some fruit and veg, the excess of which is in turn put on a cart outside to be bought by passers-by. We've already had a decent haul of rhubarb and it sold super quickly. While we weren't surprised by that, what we were surprised by was someone knocking on our door asking if we had more after it sold out. Turns out he'd bought a couple of bundles already but requested more as his wife suffers diabetes and absolutely loves rhubarb, so it was a great compromise for her to have something sweet that was also very low in sugar. It feels good knowing we're helping someone in that situation, even if it's simply allowing a good taste with no negative drawbacks.

My mythic raid mates dragged my sorry kitty butt through Mythic +16 so I could get my chieve for BfA (and my purple tiger skin!) So happy to tick that and the mage tower off my to do list :) Just need Prestige 1 and my druid is ready for August!!
