ID this anime? mech thing? ***ID'D!!! hurray!!***

My dad found a neat looking action figure/model thing at a yard sale, but we dont know where its from. I saw it when I visited him last but he doesnt have internet so I had to wait to get home to try looking it up, but I cant find it!. I dont have a picture but its discription is this:

It is similar to a gundam or EVA in looks, but with more of a reptilian or aerodynamic look to it.
Its hands are huge black claws, it is white in color, but with a Huge black "V" thing on its chest coming up and wraping behind it. It has a tail, and looks like it once had missiles that where mounted on its arms. There was a symbole on its chest, I think on the "V" that was like an hourclass or close to it. It also has several red "wires" on its arms and legs.

Somewhat of a cross between this and this, but with a big V thing on its chest and huge black clawed hands, and a tail....possibly has wings but I can't remember.

I hope this is enough for someone to maybe ID it...

**edit** ok here's a sketch of it I did from memory, so it might be a little off or missing something. I forgot one arm had a shield like thing on it, and the other arm had a slot where "something" was attached, maybe a similar shield.

Sadly my dad doesn't have a camera, or the internet...he's...well, he's living off the food bank and next month is moving into a low income assistance housing. I didn't have my camera with me when i was visiting, and I am kicking myself for not taking a pic with my phone. I really didn't think it would be that hard to ID a mech suit anime creature...

It's been a long time since I've watched the anime, but the sketch kinda reminds me of the Generator Gawl. I don't think that it's the right anime though.

yeah, it looks something like one of those things, though the tail comes out of the base of the spine rather then from the back of the head like Gawl does. but very similar...

I know huge clawed hands, a big black V on the chest and a tail are unusual for a mobile suit/mecha/cyborg anime thing, I didnt think it would be hard to find out what it was...seems the more unusual it is the harder it is to find it compared to a more generic model...

It might also be a knock off of something else.

There's the possibility it might not be from anything, just a generic made-up Mecha toy model.

It actually reminds me a lot of a digi-evolution of a Digimon, although I'm having trouble remembering of the name of the exact one I'm thinking of.

Paildramon was my first thought though, although now I see it doesn't really look that close to her sketch.

Well I was kinda close to what you where thinking you need him to make Paildramon XD. Ah all this Digimon talk makes me feel old >.<

EDIT: it's not one of them gurren lagann mechs?

Nah none of the gurren lagann mechs have tails. At least I think none of them have.
But one more suggestion on digimons would be imperialdramon, mabbe the paladin mode since it's white. But since it has a visor it might be macross cross (or what were those mechs called) or something?
Last suggestion would be Justice from Guilty Gear, but theres no V on that one but it does fit on the clawed hands, tail, white and shoulders that would shoot out missiles.

...but Veph's suggestion seems like the best bet otherwise.

I know its not a digimon, would have been nice and easy to ID if it was.

That Guilty gear one looks very similar, but lacks a few of the key features...might send him a txt and see if theres any other markings or any writting on it...

hmmm....It's not Gundam I don't think. It might be Code Geass perhaps? It's got some heavy mecha suits in it.

I just checked it out, but non of the "Knightmare frames" looked like it. close, but no claws/tail/V.
