ohh totally out of subject.. this may sound morbid.. but im very open to the " you might die in your sleep at any time" diagnosis. If it happens (i hope it doesn't) i hope that my family will inform you guys.. though it may not be the first thing on their mind.

But im still hoping that it wont come to that.

God Tarn I'm sorry to hear that it's not improving :(. I would suggest you look around the world for other specialists with different treatments that might help but I'm sure you already have. Take care and I hope things improve soon. Hugs.

Tarn, you are an amazing, kind, and genuine individual. Life certainly isn't fair all the time but you have friends here that'll love and support you through the worst of it.

I also agree with Wain. A specialist that fully understands and treats conditions like yours for a living would be much more helpful to you than any ignorant general practitioner.

I know its not my place but would a http://www.gofundme.com/ help at all? I know they support different currency but I'm not sure where Denmark would go?

"Supported countries and currencies include: United States of America ($USD), United Kingdom (£GBP), Canada ($CAD), Australia ($AUD), and some European Union countries that use the Euro as their official currency (€EUR)."

Getting a specialists is one thing but having the needs to pay for it is anther. A wonderful person such as yourself doesn't deserve this.

Figured out how to go on my own profile. Thought i post here instead of the show dragons. Maria always gets sick when she takes her meds. Sometimes worse than others and today is a bad day with pain, dizzyness, fever and throwing up.

Im off for today but i thought i would give you an update.

Thanks for all your well wishes :D Im a bit better this morning. Not throwing up anymore which is good. The silly thing is that the medicine i take for my pain makes me
nauseous and if i dont take them the pain itself makes me throw up.. so yay loose/loose

Thanks again for your concern and your well wishes ! :D

As most of you know i have been feeling worse..

Most of it is physiologically as its VERY hard being the size of a hippo in a world where appearances is the main focus. I have had some really unlucky encounters with ppl, mainly the onces who are in charge of my social benefits. The Danish government is applying a new political course for ppl on social benefits which is a harder politic than they had before. I dont qualify for disability benefits because being fat is not qualified as an illness and because im so young.. all in all it means lower income for us which is a bad thing.

We had hoped to be able to save to move to another apartment which is not on the 2nd floor so i could get out more as im bound to my home now due to i cant walk down the stairs.

I have gained another 40 pounds due to some chemicals malfunctions in my brain. There is nothing the doctors can do to stop it so i will just get bigger and bigger.. cant tell when it is going happen but i know it is... an eventually i´ll die from this which suuuuuxs... but with luck i have inherited my ancestors gene and will be old before this happens... though i dont look forward to being heavier...

I know that despise what im experiences im extremely lucky. 99.9 % of most days i can stay positive and actually feel bless and happiness in my heart and soul due to my faith in Jehovah and the Bible, my fellow Jehovahs Witnesses who are so supportive and wonderful and my beloved husband who still loves me and think that im beautiful, which i cant understand but i thank Jehovah for the blessings i have in my life and for His guidance through the hard times, and i know He will continue to help our little family in the future.

Being fat may not qualify, but they can't just ignore the fact that you do actually have a debilitating disease that is causing that problem :\ that seems a little... negligent?? on their part, honestly...

Sadly Alex their point of view is.. "Just loose the weight, it cant be that hard!" Ive struggled since i was 12 to get doctors and others to understand my disease but with no luck. In Denmark, if your overweight its because your lazy, eats to much, a little dumb and in most case uneducated.. its a though struggle i tell you!

Yea they say the same about Americans >__> my grandmother had the tendon in one of her feet snap and it went untreated for years because all her doctor did was blame the pain and limping on her weight e_____e; but there has to be a doctor out there that understands that your disease is causing it, right??
God's sake, they're professionals, they went to school for this and they can't even bother to look past your weight to see what could, y'know, be causing it??? the stigma surrounding fatness puts people's lives at risk and yet everyone continues to see no problem with blaming everything on "laziness" or other bull ugh
/end rant

heh i understand where your coming from.. My hubby use to say that the only ppl left which you are allowed to discriminate is fat ppl... because sometimes it feels like that. Ive visited several doctors.. since i was 12...even some form other countries and they all have the same brilliant solution to my problem.. just loose weight..

now im at 400 punds with a broken knee (missing two legiments and a cross legiment) and i cant even excersize due to the gird of my stomach.. i cant go down the stairs so i cant even attend swimming classes... if i could find a swimsuits which would fit me :( Ive been bound to my home in 3 years without being able to go outside..

And the only prospect i have is that it will get worse :(

Sorry to hear about how your doctors don't understand. :( Just so I understand, are you able to lose weight if you have the ability to move (like swimming), or does it not work due to other medical issues? Maybe instead of doctors, seek the help of a nutritionist or physical therapist/health coach who might have a better understanding of what you are dealing with?
