Sorry to be political, but this isn't political, since I assume we all like the internet. So, US residents might want to be aware that there will be an important vote concerning the future of net neutrality on Dec 14 and that there is time to inform your representatives of your opinion regarding this.

They've been defeating this bill over and over and over again (or ones like it) all freaking year. Why won't it just die? Why does it keep regenerating?

It's like the zombie healthcare bill. It just keeps coming. *sigh* It's all about the money.

Edit: Actually, call your representatives today. Before the close of business hours. I guess the FCC chairman is sending around his proposal today, but the vote isn't till the 14th. Yikes.

I don’t live in the USA but this abomination of a political agenda will have effects right around the world. Hopefully it gets defeated again.

It's terrible they're doing it around the holidays on purpose hoping people will be too busy to stop them. All the television shows that helped fight them before are off for the holidays too mostly. No late night comedians to help gather people. I'll certainly be calling my congressman again. These people are terrible it's like cartoon super villain level bad.

I can't do anything either in Canada, but I hope those in the US who are able to take action. This is just despicable. :/

I wrote to my congress peeps, signed the petition. :/ I just can't believe this. I live in a rural area, so my internet is my main entertainment, such as it is. Since I can't spend over half an hour driving to things all the time, nor do I always want to go out.
