I'm working at Pride this weekend and I decided, fuck it, I'm getting my hair cut and dyed. Was going for the bi flag colours but since it was black before we couldn't quite get it light enough for the blue at the bottom, but that's okay, I love how the purple gradient turned out!!

Veph: I love the hair! The color looks amazing! ♥ I'm also dying to know what kind of foundation you use. It's flawless and stunning! I'm very pale as well and no matter what I use, it always comes out looking too dark for me. :/

Here's a little pic of me, exhausted after getting home from this year's Ren Faire. Pardon the duck face, I was blowing the hubby a kiss and it's the only photo we took. It's too bad I didn't get one of the whole black chainmail set. Maybe next year!

I keep forgetting to post pics of my new baby when I'm on my computer. They're cell phone photos, and at least one is from before I got my S8 so the quality is pretty crummy, but it's one of my fave pics.

It's been a little bit, and I realized I never showed off my new tattoos over here. Hair's back to black for now, but I loved the purple while it lasted.

For my birthday a few months ago I got spiderwebs on my shoulders, not the easiest things to take photos of, but you can kind of see them.

Oh my word I love your tattoos, they're so delicate and intricate! You have the same placement as my shoulder tattoos except mine are wings.

I'd had the idea for spiderweb 'sleeves' for a long time now, I just had to stop procrastinating and do it, I was so happy with how they turned out!

this is a picture of me working with two string orchestras last summer (one group from Montréal, the other from Bologna, Italy) on a work that was commissioned from me. The concert took place last week, and went very well.

Sukurachi looking very handsome! It's really neat to see the orchestra at work too.

(I STILL love the logo you made for me, it's staying on all my published music until I die. and I get LOTS of compliments on the logo too... just last week the string quartet performers I'm working with commented on it and how beautiful it was)) I think the photo makes me look fat!!!

It was a fun rehearsal too... though there was a language barrier. My Italian isn't strong enough to really conduct a full rehearsal, and half the musicians really only spoke Italian, with maybe a smattering of English or French.

Thankfully the conductor (who would conduct for the actual concert in Montreal, and the one in Bologna) speaks fluent Italian. Sadly, we can barely see her in the photo, she's just behind me, we can see her back and the back of her head.
I've known her for going on 40 years now.
She just sent me a picture (an actual picture, on photographic paper) of us when we were 17, me at the piano, and her at the violin. The funniest thing was I immediately recognized her, but for the life of me could NOT recognize myself at all!!

I love how they go right around the back too! That's pretty amazing for a fresh tattoo, I always swell up like the michelin man. Do yours go right into the armpits? Mine did it it was literally the worst pain in the world lol. My wings were inspired by those blue druid shoulders because I loved the idea of having epaulettes

They were my first tattoos but they healed like a dream, I had a great artist, and since the lines were thin there wasn't a lot of scabbing. They get pretty close to my arm pits but actually the pain was fine all the way through, I hardly felt any of it, which was a big relief since I'd been anxious about that. Your wings are absolutely gorgeous, that's a great inspiration! :')
