Hello fellow Petopians
I've been using a raid 0 configured on my mainboard for the lifetime of my current PC. I decide yesterday to try something completely new and found Ubunto (thanks Saturo). However, it seems that Ubunto and my raid configuration are far from the best of buddies at the moment. So after digging around here I found an e-ide harddrive that I knew i'd be able to put into my current system and it is upon this hard-drive that I've installed Ubuntu.
Now for the fun part. I've been good lad and installed all the patches it requested and restarted the machine. I then found that dmraid was meant to be the solution so grabbed that and installed it too. Still no joy as you can see below:
Yes I've been searching the net but so far I can't find a real solution...???
Further relevant information:
Raid 0 Config: 2x256GB WD
Mainboard: A8R-MVP Deluxe
Ubuntu 10.10 (alternate CD iso).
If any more information is required, please let me know.
