Guess whos haveing another bit of goddamn surgery?

Yes my ribs just don't seem to want to stay fixed and so I'm haveing another bit to fix it up It should be fine but its still rib surgery so I'll have to get used to sleeping upright and not sneezeing. But hey I have done it 2 times before allready! I should be maxed out in skill points if those where real. Skill points that is.

The plastic surgen who worked on my chest the last 2 times is doing this one so I know he will be sweet and nice it does help hes the best plastic surgen in new zealand XD. What sucks is that agian the Insurance wont pay up for 90% of it again cos they call it "Surgery for a non life threating Illness" even though It IS a life threating thing :S ( its cos its being done by a plastic surgen they don't beleave its for a "real" danger like cancer or something)

Now my history of going under the knife is well painfull but totally worth it IMO. You see once I hit puberty my left side of my rib cage grew alot faster than my right and formed what I called "a 3rd boob" made out of bone that was mostly rib cage. Now it was not intill 2007 when I was 17 when I could have the surgery to fix it as well I'd stoped growing by that time. 1 4 hour long Op and 8 weeks off school later and my chest looks 80% normal. Then in 2008 when I was 18 it was found I had a 1 and a half kilo lump in my stomach and so I went under the knife for that and 2 weeks later with out solid foods and i'm back to my normal self THEN in 2009 I had another bit of rib surgey to fix a few bits of cartalige that moved out of place from my rib cage and that surgery was at xmas and heck that was my xmas present from my family XD and last year I had nothing go wrong and had thougt "sweet I'm free and fine" intill 3 weeks ago when I was washing myself I found some hard lumbs on my chest and thougt "god not THIS again!" and so we went back to see my plastic surgen and had some scans and xrays and found it was some more cartalige that had moved out from under the plate thing in my chest and so we booked a surgery time.

Edit: Just so you guys understand I'm not scared of this stuff anymore by this time I'm used to haveing surgery/liveing in a hospital etc. Just annoyed

So yes next week I'm going under the knife wish me luck! XD

Ugh, having surgery on your ribs on purpose sounds like a pain in the butt. I broke 'em a couple times skating and just basically got a reaaaaaally long piece of gauze and a "deal with it" from the doc's.

Well sorry guys for not updateing for a bit.

I got a call from my surgen on wensday night saying he had a free space on friday and he could fit my surgery in on that day instead of the next week ( I think someone died or something) So me and my folks had a talk and agreed it would be for the best to take him up on the offer and so I spent thursday getting blood work done. The basic stuff I have had before aids tests etc and then on firday I went under the knife.

It went well apart from me takeing longer to wake up from the anesthesia but thats happend all the other times and my anesthetist should know that hes been the same one whos done 2 of the other ones. \:

So I got my catheter out on saterday and had my first walk (thats allways a pain learning to walk) and by monday (today) I got let out and I've been at home for a few hours they said I could go home on sunday but I had a huge vomiting fit so I stayed another night. Hopefully I will get my 2 drains out by wensday (anyone else who has had those will know how nasty they are) and then I can start feeling good. The worst part so far is not the pain but the heat! My god its hot at the moment and thats the worst thing you need when your trying to sleep.

Well Mania hopefully I will be soonish but right now I can't as the PC I have WoW on is downstairs and I don't think I can handle going down those right now but I stole my bros laptop thats what I am useing now so I can keep you guys updated. I'm in my bed at the moment but If I can hadle it I'll be on the sofa by tonight but I don't want to rush.

We have plenty of clouds for you here in Seattle and most of us want to get rid of them, so I will stick more clouds in Cialbi's bag if you send us some of that heat!

I have undergone three Csections to have my kids. That is major abdominal surgery, so I understand your pain with the learning to walk again thing right after. Your alot braver than I am, even though I knew what was going to happen I was scared to death. Take care of yourself, and get lots of rest, sounds like you have some wonderful support in your family.

Yes I'd love some clouds. I just woke up a few mins ago and last night was one of the worst sleeps I've had in ages. The heat sucks and mix it with a cat who thinks drain tubes are toys and you get a night full of yelling >.<

So I played half an hour of WoW today after mum and me took 10mins to go down the stairs to the computer. I'd of liked to of played longer but computer chairs are not the best thing to sit on when you need support.
