True. And they'd be a natural fit for poison effects that did slows or healing debuffs.
BTW Wain, can you bug your secret source about Kungchongs?
The source is no longer a secret, it's been known for some time it was Jeremy. We were just very lucky to have his attention before he became well known and very busy. He still contributes to Hunter pet stuff, and I suspect it's probably a really rare case for a non-class designer / manager to be so involved in a class issue, so we're still very lucky. Of course nowadays he can also delegate stuff to his minions
They have kunchong on their list of possibilities but I have no idea how long before they may become tameable. I suspect they're a similar situation to the dread ravens of Draenor and rocs of the Broken Isles where they tie into local race lore and it may be longer before they're allowed to be tamed, if ever. I really hope that one day they will be, though. Hopefully they'll be grouped with the silithid colossi.

I always hoped they would see dread ravens/rocs and their lore as an opportunity for a cool taming story/quest, instead of a hindrance to it. They've done stuff like this before so they clearly aren't afraid of doing it. And they lore provides a wonderful backdrop and foundation for something like this to really make sense. I always like it when they do something fun and engaging (like Gara). I kinda wish they would have done this with Mechs. That could have made for a really cool story, instead of just a vendor item. Lots of opportunities to be had!

I agree there would have been great opportunities there, like taming of kunchongs linked to rep/quests for mantids and likewise dread ravens for Arakkoa.

Grand Gryphons are also tamable. I will post pics later on when able
Then I'm guessing the Gorishi Grub got updated as well.
Shame they're not made tameable, though. They should've been tameable a long time ago, to be honest.
Why the HECK aren't grubs tameable??? Seriously, does anyone have a good reason for that? I mean, look at caterpillars and try to justify this. Look at the other worms, even! I miss my grub and they won't give it back. So freakin pissed right now.

I have no idea at all why they weren't and aren't tameable.
They are pretty much the most basic type of worm alongside the original vanilla worm. They're the first type of worm you'd expect to be tameable.
Thus far, nothing else has been made tamable. I've checked various beasts that should be tamable and they still aren't. Unique beasts like Somber Dawn, Oondasta, and the three rare Silithids are still untamable.
