Apparently the new built has a new NYI lvl 15 talent that allows us to also summon the first pet from our stable when we use Call Pet, and it will obey Kill Command but not able to use pet family skills. I guess that's one way to keep the 2 pets BM hunter feeling that some people like.

I like that it makes a second pet optional. Is it replacing Dire Beast?

From what I read it replaces Way of the Cobra.

This sounds like a fantastic idea to me. I haven't decided yet how much I like having a second pet so I'm really glad it's a choice we can make, and I'm also glad that it'll finally be our own pet.

I don't mind that. Way of the Cobra was frequently a go-to, which might be why they tossed it out.

I just hope it doesn't end up being an underperforming flavour talent - if I do decide to use it I hope it's competitive so I don't feel like I'm sacrificing viability for the fun of a second pet.

Sweet, I really like that. Does the glyph that lets Dire Beast call pets from your stable still exist? I never played during Legion.

Yeah, that's the one I've used all expansion. I really liked seeing all of my pets come out so I hope it stays for BfA.

Yes, at least in Legion it does (if you don't choose Dire Frenzy). Too early to say if it'll be around in BfA.

That's the one part that disappoints me. I'm going to miss my Dreamway Prowler Pup.

I'm mixed on this. On one hand, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that I'll be able to talent into having 2 pets as BM in BfA. I'm also glad it's a talent, because I know some players don't want a second pet, so I feel like this is a good choice (at least as of now).

My ONLY complaint is that... it's the same row of talents as Dire Beast. Which means I'm forced between having Dire Beast OR 2 pets. Which sucks for me because I friggin LOATHE Dire Frenzy. I was already concerned when I saw Dire Frenzy made baseline, but was optimistic because "Oh I'll just talent back into Dire Beast, no biggie". But nope, that fear proved true xD I'm hoping maybe some talents will get shifted around (maybe if they swapped Dire Stable and Dire Beast or something, IDK).

Though, don't get me wrong, still pumped that we may get to have 2 pets again, just not looking forward to that talent of personal nightmares DF. XD

This is my concern as well.. Hati has all kinds of performance issues, would hate for this to be a repeat of those issues.

Yay! I'm so glad it's a talent! Rhyela might main spec BM again! I didn't care for Hati and how he was forced on us.

On paper it sounds like a reasonable compromise solution. We’ll have to wait and see how it plays out in the game

This will be my go to talent when BFA is live if it makes it in as it is now.

To me this feels like a compromise with Blizzard like they are saying ok we may kill Hati but we are bringing the second pet option back and it will be your own pet this time which I like cause I am very attached to my own pets more than Hati.

wait, what? A little offtopic but this is the first I'm hearing of this, what's the deal there?

I do hope there would be a glyph that would allow our second pet to replicate the looks of our main pet, just like how we have Mimiron's orb. Or better yet, Mimiron's orb could be a toy that is shared account wide and we can use it either to change or revert our second pet's appearance.

I know Alpha can still be changed and nothing is confirmed but how good of a chance does this talent have in making it into BFA?

Fairly good, I would think. Blizz knows that there are a lot of players that would love to keep having two pets, but they also know that there are many that would prefer one. So, to make both sides happy, they made this talent, which will most likely make it to Live
