Excellent! It's about time they got around to it, but better late than never

That's great I'm trying to remember what other animation bugs we found, to see if they fixed those too. The clipping on the new hippo when it did its special?

A lot of the feathered raptors that were available in green & red outside of the Horde embassy in Zuldazar have all been changed to green.

I miss my Red one.

I wonder if they're planning to make them rare, or simply use them in different areas to differentiate the species in different zones. It mmight be a sign that they're moving on hunter pets, anyway

There are plenty of red ravasaurs in other areas, mostly in Nazmir. A variety of mobs, both beasts and otherwise, have been seeing changes

The white wind serpent has always been one of my favourite companions, I forget the number of times I have gone stalking Arash'ethis or Hayoc ....

Needless to say I am not a happy bunny (or spacegoat).

'White' has never quite done this model justice, being very much iridescent and reflective of it's surroundings with a lovely lavender overtone on the wing surfaces.

I love the new model (though some part of me remains nostalgic for the old), but I do hope that they replace it with something similarly pearly beautiful and .. white !

Seriously, just dump that muddy brown, if we're going to have a new 'windie' skin at all, something multicoloured like from "The Art of World of Warcraft" book page 58 would be adorable ? My troll would love it

Woop woop. I was confused why they updated only one Scarab/Beetle model, expected them to do the other skins too.
Checked them out on WoWhead.
Pleasantly surprised that even the Cataclysm versions got updated.
I don't like the new black one, though.
The new white looks pretty striking.

Only one that isn't updated is the pink one. Is that one in the files at least, Wain?

The fidelity of the updates varies immensely. Some I'd rate as "great", others as "at least you tried", and some are "now you're just being deliberately contrary".

The old purple/cerise one doesn't seem to have been changed yet - thankfully, since skin was given an update but looks entirely different in shade. The old metallic orange with black markings one also seems to be unchanged at this stage - by name, this skin also received an update but the new one is even more wildly different than the cerise one (it's bright gold with barely visible yellow markings).

I like them. Even the Violet looks pretty nice to me.
It's just the black one that I'm not that fond of.

I really like them. Some aren't exactly like the old ones, but still an improvement imo.

By the way, if you want to see them animated, WoWhead has them. They haven't updated the previews, but most of them have their new models:

It's only the pink and gold that aren't available yet.

This one vexes me. As a stand alone skin, I love it. As a replacement, they didn't even try to make its markings black. I DON'T UNDERSTAND

The new models, especially the faces, are super rad though.

I like the new look for the beetles, although I'm really not a fan of them as pets.

HOWEVER, I absolutely LOATHE what they've done to the demon doggies!!!

I liked the upright, alert posture of the older model. I hate this quasi-worg shape they've given them now.

The 'red' one concerns me most and I hope it's a mistake that it's even been swapped in:



This one isn't just a little bit different, it's a completely different thing. The only thing linking it with the original is that the old one was red and this has some red painted on it. As for the quality, this one has markings that look like they were spray-painted on. Perhaps it was intended to be that way for some game reason (say, painted by Blood Trolls), but if not, it looks like a very basic airbrush tool job. It looks so unrealistic compared to the rest, surely it's meant to look painted. I mean, even I have the skills to airbrush that well, and that's saying something :/

You're right, it does look like it was painted on it. Nothing natural looking about it.

The pattern almost looks like they got hotrod flames painted on

(this is someones cue to photoshop that)

It seems the legs on the mine spider model got fixed. That's good.
Now I just need the tarantula to have its chelicerae fixed in the idle animation.
