Useful BfA-related links

Informative

Feedback / Bug Reports on WoW Official Forum (must have Alpha/Beta access to post)

What else should be on this list? Please add suggestions below. I don't want to clutter the list with every last BfA resource, but it would be good to have the most useful here, especially if they're hunter / pet related but also the most important general ones.

This guide here on what to do before Battle for Azeroth would also be a very useful link to have :)

macros that may be useful for testing and feedback:
/run print("Target NPC ID:", strmatch(UnitGUID("target" or 1),"-(%d*)-%x*$"))
/run print(UnitCreatureFamily("target"))

edit:
blizzard hasn't enabled these yet. :Þ

I swapped around the list and intend to link any official forum feedback/bug reports that we start, or are particularly relevant to us. It makes it easier to keep tabs on them. Are there any I missed?

I don't think that you missed anything. At least nothing comes to mind.

So glad you posted these...I need to get the mythic 15 done for my kitty (and kind relieved I can do all the other stuff later)

So Beta has officially begun and it means...the alpha forums have been wiped. :(

I'm sure Blizzard still has them archived, but I wonder if we should start some round 2 topics to keep them going and to show we're dedicated. Kind of a shame to lose access to all of the discussion that had been posted so far though.

I think we should. Like you said, Veph, it would show dedication to what we're trying to accomplish :)

ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I get that Beta should have its own forum, but why wipe? Thats a good way to get a bunch of duplicate posts, but I guess thats the only option? Wain put a LOT of work into that post with particulars, and now it has to be from scratch. Irritating.

It is irritating. He really put so much hardwork and detail into it :/ Plus, since it is a new forum and a ton of new people have been invited, new threads can very quickly get buried.

I spoke to someone at Blizzard and got back a copy of my original post for look replacements. I’ll repost it later :)

Should we hit Q&A with questions about art direction and look replacements too? :)

Very glad to hear that you got it back, Wain :)

If possible, yes. Not sure if they'll answer them, but we'll never know unless we try :)

I've updated the OP with the new replacement looks feedback thread. It's :
https://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/20763146123
Please add comments with any other replacements that concern you!

The following posts are now gone, as they were on the deprecated Alpha forum: Please let me know if there are any new feedback or bug threads I could add here. Thanks!

I just wish we could get some engagement from the art team about it. When they turn the green and purple beetle into a green and blue, that is a conscious decision to not be faithful to the original. I would love to know why. It makes no sense, it seems to me that making the beetle purple would be just as easy as blue.

As far as I can tell, the art team don't have much of a history of being engaging, unfortunately.

Their session at the last Blizzcon was really good, but it's one of the few times they seem to make much comment.
