Blizzard has be nice enough to make bosses tameable with next expansion, so wanted to know if either Guarm or its kin have been made acquirable yet?

Neither have been as of right now. However, if they do, it may not be till the xpac after BfA. Thus far, Blizz has made raid bosses tamable two xpacs later when the raid is easily soloable. Fenri is still listed as an undead.
