They added a new mount people can win for another round of Hearthstone promotion. It's the exact same model as the original promo mount but in my opinion it's way nicer with the blue & red recolor like it actually looks really badass in-game.

Idk I really like it, what about you guys? I didn't like the fire version they made for RAF, but this is cool.

Some sites are listing it as a Hearthstone promotion but I've also seen it listed as the achievement for getting 400 mounts. Hmm....

It would certainly make much more sense as a Hearthstone promo, maybe we'll get something better for the 400 mount goal (the mount itself is fine but I'd prefer something more exciting/fitting for hitting that monument).

As a former horse owner and horse lover I like the mount and hope they keep it since when have any number of mounts achievements not been reskins. From the white drake to this they all have been reskinned to a newer color.

Yeah as a hearthstone thing fine but I want something better for 400...that's a lot of mounts afterall! Maybe something fitting this expansion.

It makes sense to be a hearthstone thing. Guess we have to wait and see?

It's listed as the reward for 400 Unique Mounts.

The journal stating it's from Hearthstone is likely because they copy/pasted the code from the hearthsteed since they're so similar and forgot to update the obtained from section.

400 mounts? gross that mount shouldnt be the new reward.. its so bad XD

I could see it being the achievement mount. Not that I'm thrilled about that, but the only connection this mount has to Hearthstone is the fact its a recolor of the Hearthsteed (which I think is why the mount says its from Hearthstone promotion). The coloration on this one isn't Hearthstone related at all, especially opposite the Hearthsteed itself. I do hope they change the blue glow effects though. Nothing irks me like models having one color and glow effects of another color.

I guess the next build or so will clear it up though.

Honestly, I think the 400 mounts reward should be the Stormcrow.

That mount has been a long time coming! That colour was created at the same time as the blue and we were wondering if they were going to be Horde/Alli counterparts for the same reward. But then it seemed like it was buried and forgotten.

400 mount should be BfA themed. A wicker wolf, a crawg, a saurolisk, or something else. They could also finally make another mount that uses the bat animations and make an original Pterrordax. Many great opportunities exist with the new beasts.

A wicker wolf would be very unique. Crawgs and Saurolisks, on the other hand, already have mount versions and will be obtainable elsewhere.

I vote for the Stormcrow, but a Wicker Wolf would be killer. Hell, a wicker anything probably would be.

Well as a mount collector I'm disappointed that not only did they get so behind with rewards for mount collecting (no update this expansion, even though I recall there being people already past 350 on one toon at the start of xpac) but that the rewards are just recolors.

100 mount achievement was a dragonhawk, at the time, the only obtainable dragonhawk mount.
200 was an armored dragonhawk. Ok, that is a reskin, but they at least they added armor to make it a little different.
300 was a blue heavenly cloud serpent. No added anything. People thought it was awesome, but other than the color, what about it is special?

Things like raid mounts are often unique because they're hard to get. Isn't collecting huge amounts of mounts hard as well? So why aren't the rewards equal to the effort required at the time they're first obtainable?
