As of 8.0, you can no longer tame Anthriss. Was here to help a friend camp the Lost Emberspit Scorpion and looked over seeing the 112 elite.

Anthriss - which is the Amber/Topaz/Yellow color Lava Spider once tameable to all specs on Hunters, is no longer able to be tamed until the expansion drops and we level some. Was seen at 1:13am CST on 7/19/2018. Picture shown below.

I don't know why it is that level but perhaps someone can shed some light on it. Wanted to let everyone know about it.

Since they've added scaling levelling, rares have been bumped up to two levels higher than your current one. In Classic content, this means a lot of rares can't be tamed until 62, Outland and Northrend rares can't be tamed until 82, etc. I'm not sure why that would have effected Anthriss because he's no way near current content and tameable rares cap out at 110 - from what I'm aware. Someone might have to correct me on that, though.

I suppose you could submit a ticket for it just in case it's a bug, at the very least
