Bug (or not) - get a good weapon now!

Hello folks,

Just a note to those who didn't see yet.

The wrathful weapons and armour can currently be bought without any rating restriction - this means a VERY good xbow/gun for something like 2200 honour.

The guy in my guild who showed me said it's officially not a bug (blue post), but everyone suspects it's actually a bug they can't be bothered to address this late in the day. I can't check that from here.

So tomorrow night I'm going to have to grind 10 or 20 BGs for the honour points for it, with any luck.

Yeah I saw the blue post. How much is 2200 honour now? I got all turned around with the conversion... What would the WG weeklies net?

From asking guildies last night - BG rep is still variable based on which BG, whether you win, how many HKs etc... but they estimated over time you could probably average out to about 100 Honour per win...

The weekend (or random) adds 90 honour per win I think.

its not much. for a AV or so if you win i think you'll get around 100 honor, if its a random or weekend, then you get a bit more. Random battleground rewards 90 some for a win

if you think of it this way, War Mounts cost 2000 honor now too in this current system

Thanks guys! Knowing me, I'll probably abandon the project when I'm around 1000 honour... or decide to buy a mount instead! But it's nice to have this available to us.

I haven't looked since Saturday evening, but as of that time you could still get them.

Now the shoulders and the weapons that required the highest rating *do/did* still require rating. The rest of the weapons and Wrathful set could be purchased without rating. So up to, I think, 1800 rating weapons were available.

Also, this bug is still there on EU servers, I got Stereo a gun just a few minutes ago. :)

Yeah perhaps you tried buying the ilevel 277 stuff, Redith? It's the 264 stuff (which required an 1800 rating) that's apparently bugged or whatever it is.

Shame, the 264 is kinda almost the same as what I already have. Only thing would be to get a gun.... still a way of on honor atm.

All the 1800 rated (264) wrathful gear is available, not just weaponry. So you can get 4/5 wrathful (shoulders are still restricted).

HUNTERS, do NOT get the crossbow! For some reason, its stats were not changed, so it has ap instead of agility and is therefore LOWER DPS than the bow or gun. I had to waste honor buying the bow, since I'd previously purchased the crossbow. :/

I take it there really isn't much difference between the icc 25 bow (Zod's Repeating) and the 264 pvp gun/bow?

Not hugely. Basically sidegrades.

I just checked the vendor in Dal and you can't get the weapons with just honor points alone. It says you need a team rating etc..

Yeah, I was hearing reports like that on Dethecus tonight too. I do believe it was hotfixed.

HOWEVER, the ARMOR is still available. That IS intended. So shop away!

My horde hunter could use some of them as there actually an upgrade but she doesn't have enough honor for them.

Not a bug, they just didnt fix the tooltips, everything is available without rating requirement = free leveling wep0nz
