[13202] New spirit beast: Ghostcrawler!

If that is really going to live it would be the FIRSt spirit beast I will proberly find cool looking.

I'm hoping it's a Beta only thing. I don't like GC, I don't think he really deserves to have a mob named after him; it's one reason why I've had a hard time taming a crab because ghostcrawler has a crab. The guy has repeatedly put his foot into his mouth and whenever anyone directly quotes him on this; he never admits to no wrong.

And I really hope this isn't turned into the 'Loque' of the expansion. Yes I wouldn't mind letting people who want it have a spirit beast crab but...

Not a wild mob named Ghostcrawler.

Anyone else notice in the second screenshot, the one with the skills listed, that it has Roar of Courage? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the special skill for Cats?

At any rate, awesome find, Wain. Regardless of if they change the model or not, I'm getting this.

EDIT: As it turns out, I'm wrong. Spirit Beasts do have Roar of Courage. I'd know this if I ever had a Spirit Beast. >_>

Yeah, I suspect earlier posters are correct and the skin is a placeholder. They've never released a spirit beast with a regular skin, and it'd be especially weird if they did that with the very first one for the expansion.

As for the other stuff. Please keep this thread positive

I'm not really happy with vitriol and personal attacks showing up in here.

I read about this some where else. I don't recall where right now. Anyways wow, this is the 1st Spirit Beast to "break" what all the other Spirit Beasts look like (glowing eyes and body, duh). I'm with every one that says this is a "place holder"! It's gotta be. I wonder what he'll end up looking like. There's a little time left, I figure, before the Cataclysm beta ends.

I expect it's a placeholder... But given some of the early zones, I would not be surprised to see an aquatic SB.

I agree with Taluwen 100%. I think it's a really lame spirit beast if that's what it's meant to be.
A ghost crab would be cool, like the ghost saber cats.
But a SB crab??? Lame. Really really lame. I won't get it if it's a SB crab.
Great for those that love it but I think something else should have been chosen like a stag or something along those lines.
Excellent find though.

I wouldn't be surprised if it disappears entirely in the release. Or at least gets a different name and skin. It is kinda plain looking.

Yeah a ghost crab would be more appropriate for him, not a spirit beast. It looks like a normal crab......pale in comparison to its older spirit beasts counterparts...
