I agree - WANT. 
If I were rich I would fully build a huge enclosure and have a pet crocodile - for real. Make sure everything was perfect and I'd take perfect care of him. *sigh dreamily*

I have a friend who has crocodillians. He was one of the first people in the US to successfully hatch a false ghavial (Tomistoma schlegelii).

Heh! Actually it's sort of neat: ten, fifteen years ago I found it was common for people to mispronounce beta as betta ("betta testing"); now I hear betta as beta all the time ("beta fish").
