PTR: Changes to Heroics and Dailies

I'm having trouble understanding how this works.

So, with my gear [level 339] I can only do regular heroics and not the new ZG and ZA [account won't be active until late April so getting geared until they come out isn't an option]. So... If I only did the regular heroics, I could earn 490 VP per week. Then, if I get geared and run the ZA/ZG stuff, I'll get another 490?

Also, if you do the runs after you get the 490 cap, will bosses still drop VP when they die? If so, do these contribute to the weekly cap?? Thanks for anyone who can help me understand! I've read all those blue posts about it and I'm still a bit confused! :lol:

For those that don't understand...

This change will turn the "1 random roic per day rewards 70 Valor Points" into "The first 7 random roics per week reward 70 Valor Points each"

The ZG/ZA roics will award DOUBLE that amount.

The roics are separate, so you can do 7 ZA/ZG randoms for those points, then 7 lesser Cata roics for more Valor.

There is a cap...you can only get 980 Valor from random roics per week. You'll hafta raid to reach the weekly hard cap of 1250 VP.

If you hit your cap, no they wont. It'll be JP.

Agreed- the majority of my time that I can be on is on weekends, and I don't always have time to log on and do a heroic every day. Thus, it often feels more like work than a game. This change will be awesome!
