Can it be?! IT IS! New Pokemon RP idea

ok so I've had an idea for a new pokeRP for a while now.

So here's the idea:

During the wars against Deoxys and the Dusk, bits of Deo's virus have ended up in the air supply

Pokemon have begun breathing it in and have fallen terminally ill. This virus has 1 peculiar symptom....the infected pokemon's body becomes the same material and colors as Deo himself. The virus kills the infected pokemon in about a month.

Doctors studying the virus came up with 2 options...find a cure...or kill the source
Pokemon start turning on each other as they decide which is the best course of action

the "Cure" side believes that Deoxys has as much right to live as anyone else. They fight not only to find a cure, but to protect the space virus as well. This group is spearheaded by wife of Deoxys, Delora.

the Source side believes in ending the virus once and for all....even if it means spilling the blood of another.

Things start getting violent as the Source side begins to launch Assassination attempts against Deoxys

It all boils down to this:

Who will win this race? Will the "Cure" side find a way to combat the virus while also keeping the legendary safe? Will the Source side manage to kill him in their race to end this as quickly as possible? Or will the virus win and wipe out all life on the planet?

That's Option A XD

Option B:

pretty much the same deal as option A but some pokemon are showing even more dire symptoms
they seem to be fighting themselves
even going as far as doing physical harm to their own bodies
3 days before they die, their colors become darker
What could be the cause of these symptoms? Is this a rarer, more serious symptom of the same virus? Or is something else at work here?

Will "Cure" side be able to stop this virus if it IS something new? If "Source" kills Deoxys...will that stop it?

Interesting. I think I like option A the best, probably because it seems like it's the one you've thought out the most... and it could also be me missing the good old and very first Pokémon RP. :lol:

Might I suggest that if we go for this, no special characters? Part of what made me dislike the recent poke-RPs was all the speshulness, deltaspecies, mixbreeds, assassins and all that. It was better before.

You bring up a good point.

How bout this. If you ARE gonna use a mixbreed/delta pokemon....you can only have 1. You can't have 5 mixbreeds, 5 deltas. Only 1 special Pokemon IF your using one.

Now note I said 1 SPECIAL pokemon. You can use as many regular pokemon as you can handle.

As for me...I'm keeping my mixbreed char ((Zap the Raitune)) outta this story.

This is what constitutes a regular pokemon:

1: Any of the 649 current pokemon in the National pokedex

2: Shiny pokemon. These pokemon are no stronger or weaker than any normal color of their species so they get a pass.

3: THIS ONLY APPLIES TO A MAIN CHARACTER: If your main RP pokemon evolved into a fakemon during Rise of the Shadows, I'll give it a pass. They still have the same weaknesses their typing provides and are not that vastly different.

This is what constitutes Special:

1: Any made up Pokemon not of the current 649 that do not apply to #3 above.

2: Delta Species ((Pokemon with a typing that differs from the norm for their species)

3: Mixbreeds ((Pokemon that have traits shared with 2 pokemon. Usually used for babies born to 2 different specie parents))

4: Pokemon with abilities that are not normal to the species ((like a flying Inefernape or a Surfing Charizard))

I'd be down for another Poke-RP. Think I'll start fresh though, a couple of entirely new characters for this sounds like a mighty fine plan.
I do like the "special" character rules you have there Magna, along with the first concept you have for the plot. Should be fun.

I like Option A better. Three days would probably not work too well, since "three days" is shortish in RP time. I don't think we ever reached a "month" in RP time.

I'd like to say I like the idea of one special pokemon, and am -very- grateful for it. Same problem I had, I just could not mesh in my characters well enough. Sol's dead, but I think even if she technically shouldn't be able to exist because all laws of logic and science say this is an impossibility, Sol and Soundwave's kid deserves a time ti shine. (I never did forget about Lyra!)

Besides, Sol's dead. And I want to do something new.

A small black circle appears in the floor of the cyber space that is this thread. It slowly widens to a four feet in diameter, seeming to have no reason for being there.

Moments later a form slowly pulls up out of it, stopping their entrance when the bottom of their feet hit the black circle. The female figure tilts their head up and grins, eyes flashing red before a cloud of smoke appears around them.

Soon enough the epicness of the moment is gone, leaving a coughing and hacking female in the middle of the cloud. "Damn smoke! BAH!"

Yaaaay! This makes me happy. I can juggle two RPs quite easily, and it's nice to swap between things when, for example, I run out of what to do in PokeRP, I can go to WoWRP, or vice versa.

I'm glad that we're doing this. The PokeRP needed time to sit and let the WoWRP grow, and this is a pretty fine time to bring it back, since no new shiny WoWness and the WoWRP is less "AMGNEWSHINYSTUFFYAY" and more "Yay. WowRP."

...Am I rambling?
