Stable ideas for a maybe baby hunter?

I'm looking to create yet another alt. I've got a small handful of them who are all hovering in the 20's range, all of whom I can't play with for long because I get bored. So I'm thinking about creating another hunter

I have so many ideas for one floating around in my mind; there are only two things I know for sure.

Firstly, I want it to be a female. I've even thought about rolling a blood elf, worgen, or even human and deeming her the daughter of Constantyne and Whitnee.

And secondly, I want her stable to be comprised of kind of... well, pets that are traditionally considered to be in girly colors. I'm aiming for pink, but I don't think there are many. Maybe purples and whites, too? Here are my possibilities so far:

Duneclaw Lasher - This is the pet that inspired it all. I fell heads over heels for a pink scorpion

Coldlurk Burrower

Centipaar Tunneler

Snort the Heckler

Vicious Tenomoth

Mazzranache

Eclipsion Dragonhawk

Thoughts? Suggestions? Would it be stupid to have a character that represents the child of your other characters? Any input is welcome

I don't think it's stupid, and the pets you have picked out look brilliant! I'm especially loving that dragonhawk.(:

Ohhh, me too. I have always loved that dragonhawk model, but never tamed it on Const for fear of it looking... well, a little girly. Male blood elves get picked on enough as it is! Thank you for your input

I'm thinking about adding this guy to the list - not super pink, but a kind of pinkish purple.

I think it's a great idea! I would also have to agree that the Eclipsion Dragonhawk (and Mazz) will be absolutely perfect for the "girly" theme you plan to initiate!

If you'd like, here are a couple of other pets that might work out for you too based on the color theme you mentioned.

Ohhh! Those are all great suggestions Niabi, thank you so much! I've never really went with much of scheme before, so I am so excited to start this one

I love how all the pinks, purples, and whites look together! I am putting every single pet you listed onto my list for her future stable

It's going to be fun naming them all!!!

Thanks so much for these, Wassa! I totally agree about that ravager - it's such a great skin, I wish it was tamable. I'm loving the bird and shale spider

And Sarayana, I just took a more up-close look at the jormungar and you are right, its color is fabulous! I have a soft spot for these intimidating beasts with such soft, girly colors

Ohhh, that white moth certainly is very girly and beautiful! And if she's Constantyne's daughter, it's only fitting she have a wolf - and a white one is absolutely perfect :mrgreen:

I second the white moth, but would actually recommend the grey one more as it is actually the same colour as the white, but has lavender eyes instead of black, which would fit your theme nicely.

I love themes, all but one of my hunters have a theme, and I love reading about other people's theme-ideas too.

Also, I don't think there's anything wrong with roleplaying your character's child, I have several that are the daughters of other characters I play.

Yeah, I tried the black and white one myself for my "girly" hunter (a Nelf who's pets are all light blues, lavenders and whites), and it just wasn't clicking, at all. As soon as this one was released however, I rushed off to tame one in Azuremyst and it was instant love. Funny how the eyecolour alone is enough to change the whole pet!

With everyone's help and suggestions, I created my baby hunter last night! She is the eldest daughter of Constantyne and Whitnee, named Bastienne after her deceased grandfather Bastien. She is a complete daddy's girl and as such, wanted to follow in his footsteps and become a hunter!

I stayed up late last night to get her up to level ten, then we took a trip to Mulgore to tame her first pet - Mazzranache, now known as Bubblegum!

I dont think so at all. I have two characters I am working to have some sort of chemistry, but a child I never considered. The way you have built this story, especially with the name of the character and the first pet, is unbelievably brilliant.

Isn't it fun? I have never had any interest in tallstriders before, but I'll be darned if that isn't the face that just did me in. It still makes me smile, even right now.

And thank you SO much for your lovely compliment. I don't know why, but the idea of a child between these two characters just popped into my mind the other day and I just couldn't shake it. I'm having so much fun playing Bastienne - picturing her traits, her childhood, everything. I was so stuck on her name at first, then I thought back to Constantyne's beloved father and it just clicked that he would want to name his first child after him. She looks quite like the original Bastien, too, with her dark hair
