Kibler's Bits make pets bigger now

Ok I might agree that Boss Silithids are too big o_o Cause yeah.... YEAH I WILL AGREE THAT IS TOO BIG.

I asked in general for someone to make me a batch. I got a warlock who figured 40g tip wasn't enough for 1 minutes work..So I uped to it 100g and Ironically I got another Hunter who made them for me. I got a really nice priest who informed me they didn't buff the pet anymore. I mentioned that they where going to make the pet bigger 4.2. The priest didn't want me to waste my gold. So nice of him!

I was curious as to whether these would work on Warlock pets as well, so I hopped on as my 'lock, farmed up some buzzard meat, and gave it a try. They worked! so presumably other controlled pets like a frost mage's water elemental or unholy DK's ghoul should also be able to take the buff.

If anyone's curious, here are the comparisons:

If anyone on the Anasterian PTR server is interested in trying Kibler's Bits, I now have characters on both factions with the recipe and a little bit of spare buzzard meat. Horde side is Gulvoroth, and Alliance side is Arametic. Of course if you want to farm up some Buzzard Meat of your own, I'd be willing to cook it for you when I get a chance.

Also decided to copy a premade mage and test them on the water elemental

Strangely enough I think this is one of the things I am the most excited for. Really will have bags full of the bits.
And for some reason cannot get the jingle for Kibbles and Bits out of my head now. :lol:

Now relating to the original topic.

It would be nice to have it longer, even up to 10mins. I feel for the buzzards in Hellfire, and the quest takers there. They'll probably never see more then a few seconds of life ever again. But I do understand the short duration, it's a vanity item and if it lasts too long then people won't have to really think of when and where they want to use it and will just spam it. Which I understand can happen anyways if you just farm the hell out of those poor poor birdies. But... at least it'll be a pain? -shrug-

The glow is kinda cool, but I wish they'd make it into sparkles or just give a little bow around the neck or on the head.

Honestly I'm just praying someone doesn't abuse it and make us lose it or have it nerfed so bad it doesn't matter.

It'll be fun to see a bigger Banthy next to an Olm with shrink glyph heh.

Actually, for the past couple weeks I've been hoarding Buzzard meat when it goes on the AH. So my sincerest apologies to my fellow Hunters from Muradin! But I've probably got around 500-700 kiblers bits saved up? It doesn't go on auction very often and I'm hard pressed to farm for Buzzard meat when I can honestly just... farm other stuff for gold haha XD

While I do think that, without moderation, the Kibler Bits will probably get to be an issue-("Hey, I have an idea! Let's give my Devilsaur/Rhino/Corehound Kibler's Bits and pop BW! And I'll hop on my mammoth. Now NO ONE CAN SEE THE MAILBOX. BWAHAHAHAHA.")-and probably shouldn't be used in an instance, just for the sake of everyone else. (Sure! You can target around that huge devilsaur butt in your face. But it's still a giant dino butt. In your -face-.)

That said, damn, Maxwell the Felguard is going to look so damn -epic- with a Kibler's on him while we're questing. I can see it now, Raven chilling on her gryphon while Maxwell, huge, roars and shifts his axe hand. Millions around, the denizens of Icecrown quake in their boots.
