So, I was siting in Molten Front camping for Skitter, kept glancing up from what I was reading. Then decided to look at my map just incase I was at the wrong spot, and i saw a red dot moving, and moused over it. It was Kirix. My heart started to pound. As quickly as I could I ran over there, but then I realized, I didnt know how to do his tame. Quickly as I could, I alt-tabbed, ran to the 4.2 thread, and read it. Seemed easy. When I reopened the game, there were 2 other hunters around, both dieing becuase they were trying to simply tame him. I tried to get to Scarr's rock, but fell to my death, when I got back he was still up. I tired the harder strat once, and got killed becuase I forgot to hit disengage. I ran back, and crap, ress timer...After 20 seconds I ressed, and found a group trying to kill him. They got kill, but damn they got close, 77k hp left. I knew I didnt have much time, the group would be back soon, and would probably grab 1 more dps to finish him off. So, I stand and waited for him to pat back over to me, hitting Arcane shot the second he got in range. He knocked me into the air, I hit disengage, then deterrance the second I landed, and tame after. I sat there, heart pounding, watching my health go down, as well as the tame time. 3...2...1...I died, but he disappeared. I blinked, and ran back to my corpse, waited 30 seconds for the ress timer, and revived, summoning Kirix to my side. One of the hunters asked in genarel where he went, and I anounced that I had tamed him. Also saying 'screw you' to those who tried to kill him.
But, now, I cant think of a name for him, so I came here. I normaly like 2 part names. (Ex: DragonSpirit, ShadowSpike, ShadowPoison) And I like part of the name to have something in common with the pet. Thanks for any help in advance.
