Stable ideas for a maybe baby hunter?

I think that's a neat idea

I actually did that with my cat Moony (the one that's my avatar) til about level 70-80ish when I ran across King Krush... up until then I'd never really thought much about taming another pet O.o

I think you should do it, you have your other hunter(s) if you find a pet you want, right? >.>

Exactly! And goodness knows I have a lot of hunters :lol:

Someday I might make another who has a stable of wolves, but that's just not for Willoe. I just can't picture her with any other pet by her side.

haha that sounds pretty good to me to.

It is kinda funny, Willoe has the exact opposite take on it than Aylee. Aylee is the kind to bring home strays, or diseased, or discarded, or bland pets, driving Rendir and Salaina crazy trying to find a home for all these critters :lol:

Not to mention the exotic (not in-game exotic) and beautiful pets she is attracted to anyway. I did Aylee's stable on paper, ended up with 41 pets for 24 slots xD

Const and Whit have to deal with having 3 kids, so Ren and Salaina have to deal with having one who brings home dozens of pets!

I'm just thrilled to find a place where I can share all my inane ramblings and stories and thoughts and pictures. I know it's just a video game, but I have always taken so much joy in giving real life to my characters, it makes everything so much more fun to me. You guys understand that and don't think I'm just a complete nutcase

During a quest where Sentinel Hill in Westfall is on fire - I thought the sky looked beautiful.

Picking flowers to bring home to mom! Darn gnoll had to come up and mess up the shot

All this discussion is giving me the alt-itch again. I may have to see if I have space for another, and if not, drop Aloicious and make another character to play with. I had a couple of challenge ideas that could be fun, and a brand new hunter would be the way to do it!

... besides, even with all the dwarves I play, many of them female, Kurasu doesn't actually have a girlfriend unless you count Lilsmith. Who's more a 'friend with benefits', considering she's not a dwarf. Oh, those kinky gnomes... >.>

.... hmmm. Wonder what the kid of a dwarf and a gnome would look like.

haha yeah this thread is what got me going with story alts.

speaking of which, for those familiar, Aylee is 62 and her stable is complete. A stable thread will be coming shortly, with cropped images

also working on a story between Aylee and Skaggs that is almost done. shows the connection between the two and why it is so strong, from both parties.

Quiv: Yup, I believe it is called the silver tabby – I don’t have access to my computer right now, but I’m pretty sure that’s its exact name. I haven’t put much thought into mini pets myself, I just passed by the cat lady’s house and thought that it would be very much like Const to give his girl a kitten

And now Kylah sent me a gorgeous Winterspring cub, who I will have to get pictures of soon! And a huge congrats on getting Miss Aylee all the way up to 62 so fast!!! I’m on my hubby’s phone so I can’t load them all right now, but I will take a look at them ASAP – I bet they are awesome

So excited to read the story, too!

Kurasu: I’m so glad to be spawning more ideas :lol:

I’ve always thought dwarves and gnomes would be cute together. They are one of the few races I can’t see being with others outside of each other – they are just… a little more disproportionate :lol:

Salaina only had pets up to level 56 so I pushed her the final few levels (she was close) and decided to finish her out.

I will be doing another her stable thread soon (finishing the family), but I took some misc screenshots in the meantime.

Salaina with Huntress Ravenoak, walking around Darnassus listening to her wisdom. She didn't get to spend much time with Ravenoak, but when she did get time, she listened.

Her closest friend, Waellah Stormbough, Darnassus ranger. After Salaina was orphaned and brought to Darnassus to be raised by the communal elves, Waellah was the one she befriended and got her interested in marksmanship huntery.

Here is Salaina and Aylee. Aylee has announced that she is about to go off on another one of her solo adventures, and Salaina is trying to talk her out it. Aylee looks off into the distance, clearly not listening.

So when Salaina gets nowhere, she calls daddy. Rendir tries to talk sense into Aylee, but it doesn't go over well either.

And heres a family shot just for kicks. Of course, Rendir is caught staring at Salaina.

Hey there

So I created a new baby hunter recently, mostly she was created to re-home pets to from my main hunter as she is out of stable room. She only has 3 definite pets, the purple winterspring saber, Ashtail, and a brown Rhino. So tomorrow after I get her to 10 I'll link her armory and I was wondering if you all would maybe help me pick out some pets for her? I thought up a small character bio type thing for her. Name comes from a story that my friend was writing.

Name: Emwe (didn't give her a last name)
Race/Class: Human Hunter
Her mother is a priest, father is a warrior. Emwe, her parents, and her younger sister lived in the northshire valley where her parents were teaching the young warriors and priests while Emwe was training to become a hunter, and when the orcs attack the valley in the shattering, they attacked her family, killing her younger sister. Her younger sister had a ring that she always wore and after she died Emwe took it and wears it, never taking it off. Because of the attack she is extremely afraid of Orcs. After the attack on Northshire Valley her family relocated into Stormwind where her parents took up teaching again. Her sister's death left Emwe broken, the two were very close. She felt trapped in Stormwind and decided to go out on a journey to travel all over, to explore everything. Along her journey she meets Airwyn ( my main, had to stick her in here somewhere to make the pet re-homing make sense), who quickly becomes her mentor in the ways of taming and making friends of beasts of all kinds. As Airwyn gained more companions she had less time for some, namely a vivid colored fox, a big brown rhino and a large purple frostsaber. Emwe takes them in for her own, not having a name for the fox or rhino yet, but she immediately had a name for the purple frostsaber, the female was protective but kind and gentle with her, always by her side, she named her Tia, after the sister she lost.

And that's all I got :oops:

It's a little rushed and not very good but I'm trying and this is the first story that I created that i've actually typed it. So forgive me for mistakes and please point out any so that I can try and clean it up a bit. I'll add her armory here tomorrow. I am looking for pet suggestions but to give you some help with the types of pets, pets that are brightly colored, pets that look like they could protect her.

Tugging at my heartstrings! I think this is a very good foundation for Emwe (beautiful name!), and gives her motive to eradicate any and all Horde that cross her path, if vendictive is the way you want to go with her.

Well, you could go with any and all parrot models in the game if you want brightly coloured. Some of the owl skins are also brightly coloured as well. I'm particularily fond of the orange and yellow owls that fly over Skettis in Terrokar, but maybe that's just because I'm grinding rep with the Sha'tari right now. Dragonhawks and Sporebats are colourful, too. You could go with a wolf, worg, or dog as a protective type, or a bear or a Gorilla. A beetle I've always seen as protective, and Warp Stalkers are another, the blue-green skin that can be found in Netherstorm is close to my heart.

Hopefully that gives you some ideas.

Thank you so much for reading and giving feedback Caelaza! Because my main hunter has all the rare pets I really want to be able to go all out with whatever pets I find "pretty" or just cool looking! I definitely want a parrot, I love the owl models too and have always had an eye on those orange and yellow ones you mentioned! I love sporebats, so she can get one of those too. I thought about getting her a worg and I have a few bear skins that I really like as well as beetles! I love the freedom that I get with a new alt, so many more pet options open up! Really thank you so much for your ideas and opinions
