Being able to see the last post of a board.

I can't seem to be able to see this anymore any help?

Throwing in my two cents, as I have the same issue. When looking at the forum home screen, all I see is the name of the latest poster, but no thread title. Bug, or new format? Screenie below:

This is why I use the View New Posts feature as that is rather annoying.

I think it came about when the Moderation note at the top of the pages popped up. At least, that's when I noticed it.

Also to add, i cant reach petopia's hunter site (the main page with the beasts on it)

I always use the Active Topics link but i do see that not seeing what the person posted to in the main forum page can be annoying, when i first started posting on forums i used it

I have my board preferences style set to 'petopia' and I can see the post titles when I'm on the board index page.

Aye, I just switched mine to the 'petopia' one and it lets me see the active title thing now.

Awesome, thanks for the info, GormanChaste & Harpier--I'd never played around with the Board Prefs before, as I'd just liked the default spreadsheet style. The Petopia view is a really cool option (and I love the Ooze mascot!). I was also playing around with Tyger's / Xakaal's suggestions of "View New Posts" / "Active Topics", which are also nice alternatives. Thanks again!

I dunno why, but I still prefer the white/grey layout for the forums. But being unable to see recent posts in threads is annoying me. :C

Is this getting fixed anytime soon? :/

Ack, indeed. I just changed to the petopia setting, and now I have to "learn" the board all over again. >.<

This should be fixed on the default "subsilver2" theme now

At least until next time the default theme updates :/

Also added a link to Petopia up in the header again. It's been gone a long time
