Hi guys. Didn't want to necro my old thread and, considering what I'm currently going through, some of the old pictures are particularly painful for me, so I figured I'd save everyone the agony and just set up a new thread! Art is kind of a slow progress lately though, so don't expect constant updates. It's mostly when I find something I don't hate and get around to plugging my scanner in - and even then, I've been so distracted lately, I don't even do that half of the time.

Very very pony-heavy. Sorry to non-pony fans.

Just a lopsided ten second sketch. My pencil doesn't have an eraser. Things get messy.

In which I forget what a neck is.

Older art, drawn way back during the Season 2 premier and before I started having...issues. I think it's pretty obvious.

Sorry about the lack of color. My tablet is still MIA and I'm awful with a mouse, so it'll just be sketches for now..

Thank you guys. <3 I admit I kinda forgot I made this thread, but I'm feeling much better emotionally now and decided I'd scan a few things in just to prove I'm not dead! :P A lot of it is old...if it's recent, I'll say so.

Most recent thing, since I started it just this morning. Old character, new look. Done entirely in MS Paint with a mouse...hence the simplicity. e_e Two color variations because I'm not sure which one I like more yet.

Non-pony art! This guy was drawn up a while back...his name is Martin, and he's actually not a dragon-thing. He's a snake. But he's picked up enough residual magic from his owner to possess some minor shapeshifting capabilities - unfortunately it didn't expand his mind any, and his shapeshifting is primarily need/fear based: i.e. he can change into a fly to get out of his tank, or into a tiger if he's startled or needs to defend himself and so on, but he can't change on command. Unfortunately there's a lot wrong with this picture(don't get me started on the wonky backwards claw)...so it's been unfinished for a while. I might finish up the lines and do some inking on it though, provided my markers can handle all of the black spots I'd need to fill in. :P

Just something I did for lols after I found my old markers. Wanted to make sure they still worked.

OOOOOLD picture, with marker/gel pen colors and a light source apparently coming out of nowhere.

REALLY don't like this one, but it was lining practice and more of me fiddling with gel pens to get the right shade of blue.

Yaay, more Nubart! Words cannot describe how much I love that snake. I really like the new pony, too. Of the two colors, I'd suggest the first, if only because the second is a little blinding. xD

Yeeeah, the second version is really bright I think because it lacks shading to even it out a bit. She won't be nearly as blinding if I go that route and give her actual color, but I'm trying to see how close I can get her to her little brother's looks. :P

And will do Veph! I had a proper drawing of Martin actually as a snake at one point, but I think I lost it and I never finished it because my sharpies died. I'll definitely be doodling him more often though. :]

Oh, if you want to match looks… Probably the second. xD The first doesn't look much like him at all, sadly.

Gosh I haven't been on Petopia in a while. :x I'm back now though!

A photodump of Eileen, Hal's brother - she runs an ask tumblr for those of you who like that sort of thing. Feel free to ask something, I'll she'll whip up a response as soon as I she can. :P

The bad boy himself, who belongs to my boyfriend. :P The smoke looks pretty mediocre on a light BG, so I'm pimping Hal's blog because it looks much nicer there!

Just messing around with color and lines and whatnot...drew this while talking on the phone, so it's messy and gross.

D'aw, thanks guys. The mountain picture was something new for me, since I've noticed a lot of my pictures are...kind of the same thing - I mean, it's all 'one/two subjects, fairly large so you can see details' sort of thing, and I like that little miss Nubhorns(that pony is me ;P) is the focus of the picture but isn't the only thing in it, I guess.

Minor warning for red scribbles:

(Messing with colors trying to find a decent shade of red - not vent art, don't worry :P )

For non-Pony nerds, an Alicorn(or a pony with both wings and a horn) is akin to a god in Equestria. They're immensely powerful, and as far as we know there are only two: Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, respectively.

So I godified Eileen for kicks, but I don't think she'd be a very good leader.
