Interesting.

Mists. Saying the mists were actually or possibly a magical barrier of some kind - was there ever any basis for this? I was always of the impression "mists" were more of an artistic flourish, like how the orient is typical seen as mist shrouded due to its general remoteness and mystique and not such a literal thing - maybe some actual fog but not something that couldn't be overcome with enough nautical skill.

Perma-drunk. Forcing players to drink to prevent their screen from blurring? Yeah that sounds fun.

Night elf / pandaren split. I know this was due to night elves playing around with arcane magic - now that night elves are doing so once again, has there been any discussion of the Pandaren reaction to this, once the factions make their way over to Pandaria? Or do NE mage NPCs just show up near pandaren ones regardless?
