Final Fantasy-Themed pets

Hi guys,

as you all know I'm doing a stable based on the final fantasy series (pets named for summons, characters, monsters) and thus far I have Lightning (White Lion) and Snow (Duskstalker). I am going to get one of the dragonhawks for the representation for Valefor. May I ask assistance from my fellow Wow hunters? Love ya my friends!

Nanaki (red hyena-aka Red XIII) is her main pet.

I tend to have an online beastuary open while perusing petopias pet database searching for which pets match which beasts.

Sorry Makoes, your totally right, I just saw the colours and thought "hey, spider shoot stuff right? (even if is is web instead of bullets <.<)" Like I said I was super tired at the time >.< Bad S.b, Bad!

But yeah would actually be my pick too, thinking a little more clearly about it.... though the bat is cool too, I always liked to think Vince as more of a night/demonish being rather than a vampireish one (personal preference of course )

I was surprised, when I went with the theme and made a mage to level alongside her-and the name Lightning was free for me to create.

Hey reviving this old topic!

I am really loving Final Fantasy IX so much that I am going to focus my stable on this theme. Thus far I have Loque, and I love him so much and he shall be my only pet not named for this game, but I do have some ideas for two summons:

Ramuh (thunder eidolon) he will be Ghamoo-ra as he reminds of the ancient this first summons is.
Leviathan(water eidolon) this summons looks alot like the blue dragonhawk of sunwell so he is number 3!

but I think my thoughts have stopped for ideas for freya, eiko and garnet. I thought possibly the 3 saber spirit beasts for them but I'm not sure. I do apologize if I'm being annoying, I just want to make sure I get the best pets that represent this game!

Heh, I used to name my pets after FF summons or monsters. I strayed from that scheme, but I still have Valefor (my Nuramoc chimaera, although he was originally a wind serpent) Terrato (my nether ray, although I barely even think of that name as a FF name anymore), Syldra (Dragonhawk), Anima (Gezzarak warp stalker), and Coeurl (green cat)

My Devilsaur and Skoll used to be named Gilgamesh and Ixion, but their names got changed in Wrath.
But regardless, maybe those are some ideas too.

I have FF themed pets on an alt, but I started with FF12 and then ended up branching out when stuff stopped fitting.
