Hi all,

While I'm not a mount collector I am able to appreciate the dedication you have in pursuing every mount in the game. I figured some of you might be interested in purchasing this mount from our guild. We're currently looking to trade it for in game currency or equivalents. As I'm sure you're aware the mount has sold on other realms between 150-200k+ gold. Oof. I wish I had that kind of gold -- I really do. Because I *would* buy this mount with it! (Mind you, that's one of the reasons I don't have that kind of gold ...)

i dont think this is a topic worth keeping
no offense but i know it is tradeable and cool but to be honest selling mounts is wrong and iv seen a single mount drop topple guilds so imagine what it could do to the community.

and also who has that kind of money except hackers and people who buy gold

also if you have a guild it drops from a raid and unless you farmed lich king enough to get everyone the mount give it to a guildy that wants it or something its the better option than handing it over to someone who is not in your guild and did not contribute to getting it

also gold doesnt last but mounts do
even if you get hacked the mount is bound to the character and cannot be deleted unless the character is

We're derailing poor Clown's thread.

But yes, I should have said something explicit about this before.

So long as the mount can be traded legitimately -- in game for gold or out of game by trading a physical card -- it does not, so far as I know, violate Blizzard's Terms of Use.

I will allow threads that help people arrange legitimate trades. You should work the details out in private, however -- use a private message to exchange e-mails or, as in this case, give a contact website.

If the mount can be bought with a Trade Window in game then there's really no chance at foul play if you're careful. If someone wants to pay that much, then they're free to. x)

Thanks for the interest from those of you who responded to me. We've found a buyer and will be selling the mount to them unless we receive a competing bid within the week, or if they bail

I've killed those pirates for probably 40 hours combined. I've never seen the Hyacinth Macaw drop. -.-

I got one on my 18:th or so kill when I was questing sown there on my lock. Not bragging tough, I only sold it for 3k.
