So, today in my botany lab, my project group, and the people around were asking about weekend plans. So I was all "oh, well tomorrow is my birthday, so I'm going out for dinner, and going to the zoo on Saturday!"
"Oh! It's your birthday? Happy birthday! How old are you turning? 20?"
"... no ..."
"21?"
"... no..."
"22?"
"... no ..."
And apparently they couldn't believe I was older than that... so their next guess was "Are you turning 19?" And then I kind of burst out laughing, so they just outright asked. I'm pretty sure jaws dropped to the lab bench when I replied that I'm turning 26, haha.

Accidentally posted this in the Rant Thread. Guess I was just so used to going there lol.

Finally got me a job ;~; I'm so happy I'm almost in tears. I'll be a taxi driver I LOVE to drive. Plus it keeps me from having to be home all day every day listening to sad music and stewing about life.

ALSO the first thing the guy said was "Listen I've had this problem with other cabbies, where they don't bathe. The first time I'll take you to the side and tell you about it. The second time I'm gonna yell at you to take your nasty ass home and take a bath!" My boss sounds awesome. Also I take two showers a day (something people always make fun of me for) but today it paid off.

WOOT Husband has Tuesday-Friday off next week, representin' foo!
We hope to make a trip to the aquarium, sort our garden, and play the shit out of borderlands on his time off. It's not an away from home vacation, but we do need to have some time just to ourselves. For some reason my husband abandoned Roland and picked up Mordecai..and now my Lilith doesn't have her big black man lover anymore..but Mordecai will do for her, I suppose

In other news, I lost 3.5 pounds in the last two weeks..holy shit I wasn't even trying!
And I feel like I won't be using the rant thread so much nowadays. Ever since I deleted all my family off my facebook (and believe me they cried about it as if they had a right to read about my life) I feel like a BIG HUGE WEIGHT has been lifted from my shoulders. Thank the Goddess!

Ontop of all this, one of my friends from Highschool is getting married this weekend. I gave her an early congratulations on her facebook and she revealed that she missed me. I was in such a state of shock. She went on to say that she spoke of me often and that her husband to be wants to meet me. Wow! I had no idea that she thought so highly of me. No idea at all.. like all we did was hang out in the morning before classes and during lunch.. She's arranged to come up to Manchester from London during her honeymoon here and..wow! She wants to have lunch. I honestly had no idea..this is just..this is making me cry happy tears dudes! It's been more than 7 years since we last saw one another..

So I saw John carter of mars today. I LOVED it! yeah it's flawed but its not Disneys worst movie of all time. I mean come on I can't count on my hands the number of movies they have made that are worse than John cater of mars.

Allso becouse people have been compareing the two I liked it 100X better than Avatar. Green six limbed aliens beat Blue space cats anyday.
